My wife and I really love this place. It has a nice casual atmosphere and the food is better (and different) than standard bar fare. I would say the menu is “upscale casual” or something similar. Great place for happy hour and an appetizer.
We have also been to steak night once. I believe it’s Thursday and Friday nights only, and we ordered in advance (required I think).
Cocktails are great. Old Fashioned for me, but there are many others. The wine list is really great too. MUCH better than any bar I’ve been to.
Staff is very warm and accomodating. I highly recommend this place.

Cellar 19 has become one of my go-to spots after work, and I find myself there a few times a week for good reason. The consistency is outstanding. The steaks are always fresh and perfectly prepared, the seafood is genuinely excellent, and the quality holds up visit after visit, which is not easy to do.
What really sets Cellar 19 apart, though, is the overall experience. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly without being overbearing. You’re treated like a regular whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, and that goes a long way after a long workday.
Simply put, this is some of the best food I’ve had anywhere in the Cedar Rapids area. It’s polished without feeling pretentious, relaxed without sacrificing quality, and consistently delivers at a high level. Cellar 19 is doing everything right, and it deserves the recognition.

Cellar 19 is a remarkable restaurant that keeps me coming back for more! Their Ribeye, pork chop, and lasagna dishes are undeniably the best in town. Make sure you order more of their bread and the garlic butter because it goes extremely well with your meal. Their dessert menu has an array of tantalizing treats, ranging from decadent cheesecake to their rich brownies, and even a sensational lemon bar. An unforgettable experience awaits you when you go to Cellar 19!

We went on Thursday for Steaks…I had the Filet and hubby had the ribeye, both were fantastic. The service was perfection. We had a dirty martini and old fashion they were spot on. Bread and garlic butter were great! We got to talk to the owner and the chef, which was very nice. We will definitely be back 🙂

We ordered the family Thanksgiving meal to go. We were excited as we love their lunch and dinner in house(a must try) Everything was scratch made and fresh. Tasted so amazing. Everything was heat and serve. We were able to enjoy family and the spirit of the holiday without having to worry about the cooking.
