Celestino’s New York Pizza & Pasta, located in Yuba City off Plumas Street, is an absolute gem. Their menu offers an impressive variety, including appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, combinations, specialties, calzones, and even gluten-free crust which I find completely amazing. They also serve salads, pastas, baked dishes, and desserts.
We tried the tiramisu, and let me tell you it completely blew my mind. The pizza itself is outstanding! The best I have ever had!You could have fooled me; I genuinely felt like I was in New York. That’s how authentic and close the flavor is.
What truly set this experience apart was how thoughtful and accommodating they are for families. If you bring a baby or young child, they will literally cut the pizza slices into small, bite-sized pieces, making it so much easier for little ones to eat. As any parent knows, kids can be incredibly hard to feed, so this level of care was completely mind-blowing. I’ve never experienced a restaurant that caters to children in this way, and it made the entire visit even more enjoyable.
The restaurant has plenty of indoor seating and features three large TVs playing sports, news, and more. There’s also a cozy nook in the back with video games to keep kids entertained, allowing parents to relax, enjoy their meal, and catch up with friends.
The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is friendly and professional. I highly recommend being helped by Ashlyn she is truly one in a million. I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Went here for the first time yesterday. Took my wife to lunch and we wandered down Plumas ST and stumbled here by accident. We just did two pizza slice meals. The Godfather was amazing and the Meat Pizza was great. Nice flimsy pizza with perfect crunch. If I was Dave Portnoy I’d give it a 7.9 because its in California.

This place could single handedly put other pizza places out of business The crust 10! The fold and hold 10! Everything tasted fresh and crisp. I got the Oscar’s Spicy Luau (yes, pineapple belongs on pizza) and a Louie De Palma… both phenomenal. Pizza by the slice never tasted so good. The crunch of the crust in every bite is absolutely ridiculous. Bye bye diet… there’s always 2027!

Great cheese pizzas. Would love a 6 blend cheese pie. The only place that has done that was templeton pizza & Greek food. Anyways, would drive pass woodstocks for this. Only thing I don’t quite appreciate is there being a wait time when you order by the slice, regardless of how busy they are.

Incredible atmosphere from the time you walk in you see the transparent cooking stations. Food was delicious. We had a basic cheese, but there wasnt anything basic about. Yum! My kids loved the arcade! They bought pokemon and baseball cards from a .50 cent machine and they were getting really nice cards outta them. Seems like a great place to watch a game or host an event. Definitely recommending to friends and family

Celestino’s New York Style Pizza truly delivers. Whether you’re a fan of New York or Chicago-style pizza, these slices stand out—gigantic yet thin, perfectly balanced in thickness, and packed with flavor. The crust is spot-on, and every bite is mouthwatering. It’s easy to see why this place is so highly rated.
Yes, it’s a bit on the pricey side, but honestly, pizza is expensive everywhere these days—and the quality here makes it worth it. The space itself is surprisingly roomy for a hole-in-the-wall spot. When you walk in, you’re greeted by large TV screens, a cool bar-style setup, and clean countertops that give it a relaxed, modern vibe.
There’s a great variety of pizza options, plus sub sandwiches that add even more to the menu. This was my first visit, but definitely not my last—I’ll be back for sure. If you’re craving excellent pizza, make time to visit Celestino’s on your next pizza run. Highly recommended.

Ordered from here 3 times so far. First time was amazing and no issues, second time they forgot the ranch I ordered but pizza was still amazing, and today I ordered and they forgot the ranch again and a cannoli. Called to let them know and they were extremely apologetic and told me to come by to get the ranch and cannoli. Manager was super nice and happy they were able to make things right. The pizza is the best in Yuba City and will definitely be coming back.
