We had an incredible evening in the restaurant. We had the seven course menu. While my boyfriend had the normal 7 course menu I had a vegetarian version and both of them were simply amazing. The service was brilliant and everyone was incredibly nice. They took care of all our wishes and we even had the chance to see a traditional Thai dance during the menu. The food experience was something we would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Bangkok. We were served by Oat and Tan and both of them made sure we had everything we needed. The wine menu was good as well.

I had the joy of hosting a family dinner at Celadon, and it turned out to be such a delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly attentive—anticipating every need and offering warm, welcoming service that made us feel completely at ease and well looked after.

The flavors were unforgettable. The green curry stood out as one of the most delicious I’ve ever tasted—creamy and perfectly spiced, with a depth of flavor that lingered long after the last spoonful. And those duck spring rolls… absolute perfection. Crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful inside—truly a dish to remember.

But it wasn’t just the food that made the evening special—it was the entire atmosphere and level of service. The staff remained calm and efficient throughout, checking in just enough to ensure everyone had everything they needed without ever feeling intrusive.

All in all, it was truly one of the best meals I’ve had, not just because of the exceptional food, but because everything—from the green curry and duck spring rolls to the top-notch service—came together seamlessly to create a memorable and heartwarming family dinner.

Extremely gorgeous restaurant with great ambience. The three of us had the sharing set menu, most of the food was alright but we couldn’t appreciate the sour soup. Grilled chicken skewers were a little tough and the stir fry morning glory was a little too salty. The best dishes were the freshly grilled river prawns and the chicken fried rice. On hindsight, we might have enjoyed ourselves more if we ordered ala carte and choose the dishes that we liked more.

They have traditional thai dance performance at 7:30 and 8:30pm and it’s well worth your time to schedule your meal around these timings to watch the beautiful performances. Service is great and not overly intrusive. The restaurant is decorated nicely with traditional Thai influences. Truly quite a memorable dinner experience.

We’ve their family tasting menu, which is less than the full tasting menu: but it’s still bit too much for me to stomach.

This Michelin 1 star restaurant is in the Sukhothai (site), a few steps from our hotel COMO.

The story of Thai celadon: “Behind this modern stoneware from Thailand is a story that goes back more than two thousand years in time. Celadon 青瓷 is known as the aristocratic oriental ancestor of the pottery family and takes its name from the elegant glaze developed by the master potters of the northern China to duplicate their beloved opaque jade. …”

Coming off a busy street, the lotus ponds put you in a serene mood. The high-ceiling interior is tastefully decorated. Orchard at the entrance and a single lotus flower at each bare table, beautiful and straightforward. The glass partition makes the two areas spacious.

Their service is good. Well-trained staff are around but not intrusive.

The food: from crabmeat-filled dumplings to grilled chicken (free-range) skewers, to big river prawns, … I find the veggie Morning Glory with garlic and red pepper the most interesting: it’s the 通心菜, the most ordinary veggie in Hong Kong, that I love. Not that I mind, but I’m a little surprised to find it served the way an ordinary restaurant on Main Street does. When I’ve guests over, I always put the veggies in a bowl, then flip it onto a serving plate to give it a slight shape.

Coming down a high horse, is pretty adorable.

Enjoyed the tasting menu with my family of 6. Snappy casual is fine. We were not guests of the hotel and intentionally came to the restaurant based on a recommendation from a colleague who lived in Singapore. Snappy casual is fine…plenty of hotel guests who were dressed in general resort wear. Atmosphere was great…very comfortable and higher end feel. Food was very good and enjoyable…glad we tried the restaurant once. Waitress/servers highlighted each course and explained it which was nice. Service was a bit lacking….waitress disappeared for extended periods of time. Time between courses was longer than what we expected. We arranged an early dinner reservation so I don’t believe the kitchen was overwhelmed. Cultural dancing features was a nice touch.

I came back here after more than 5 years but enjoyed its superb dining experience again.

Well-guided by its professional staff, we had the family Thai set menu which included famous Thai food dishes.

From making reservations to paying the bills, all the members engaged were so supportive and proficient with challenging requests and inquiries.

Unfortunately, I don’t remember their names, but I want to take advantage of this review to appreciate their support and services.

Chef Jib and her team—Khun June, Khun Eve, and Khun Flim—did a phenomenal job.

Upon arrival at the restaurant, their warm welcome and genuine smiles set the tone for what I was about to experience.

Since I was in an indecisive mood, I gave artistic liberty to the renowned Chef Jib to select a variety of dishes for me.

Not only was the visual presentation of her dishes attractive, but each dish also tickled my taste buds, infusing a combination of sweet, sour, and spicy flavors.

My personal favorite was the “Shrimp Green Curry”. For those who enjoy a little spice in their lives, this dish is a perfect choice. The initial spiciness is mild but then creeps up to the back of your throat, making you want more!

Dessert was a delightful mix of traditional mango sticky rice paired with a light and refreshing “Som Chun Granita—an exquisite combination of shaved ice and a selection of seasonal Thai fruits.

To say the least, Chef Jib and her team at The Celadon ensured I left with satisfied taste buds and a strong desire to return with my foodie!

I was attached by my friend’ s
FB content to visit Celadon .
This is first time we visit there
The feeling not bad when we got in the restaurant. But
The services were very bad . For example, Our glasses run out of water ,
Those waiters just stood back and
Look down us . Not tender for customers. Very lazy and elegant.
Serve dishes without any schedule . Almost 15 minutes period serve all of the dishes . Didn’t watch the customers dining situations . Just served and like pushing us Also Not more explaining the food in details .
Very bad experiences dining at the restaurant that like this.
Their prices was not cheap .
Didn’t deserve Michelin any recommendations !
For a restaurant of this price
This kind of service is totally unacceptable.
We feel humiliated !

The food wasn’t bad but quite average for a Michelin-guide restaurant especially at the price.

The cocktails were very nice though.
