I take my reviews seriously, and this spot deserves every bit of praise. This isn’t just a restaurant or pizzeria—it’s an experience. The owner is always out there, leading the way and setting a tone of excellence that trickles down to the entire staff. Service here is top-notch, the kind you rarely see these days.

Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely incredible. I started with my favorites, but it’s so good that I’ve branched out to try different dishes, and I haven’t been disappointed. There’s something for everyone, no matter your palate.

The ambience takes it to the next level. From the holiday decorations to the cozy vibe of the back bar, it’s a place that feels festive and welcoming all year round. The drinks are spot-on, the people you’ll meet are wonderful, and the takeout service is flawless. Whether you’re grabbing a pizza to-go or settling in for a celebration with champagne in hand, this place delivers every time.

Don’t sleep on this restaurant. It’s perfect for a casual meal, a party, or just a relaxing evening with great food and even better company. Cheers to an amazing new year and an even more amazing local spot!

This version highlights all the elements you love and encourages others to try it while giving a nod to the owner.

We tried this restaurant on a whim after finding it online and seeing its good reviews. The staff was the friendliest restaurant staff I have ever dealt with from the second we walked in. Everyone was super friendly and checking in on us for anything we needed. The owner was helping around the restaurant and being extremely accommodating to all the guests. Our food was served quickly, but not too fast so we had time to chat in between appetizers and our entrées. We had a chance to try a small pizza that was a special off the menu and it was absolutely amazing- spicy sauce, sausage, pepperoni and hot honey was *chef kiss*. Our entrees were delicious and my veal was falling off the bone. I really Love the fact that it’s a pizzeria on one side of the space and a restaurant on the other but then it has a bar area in the back that’s kind of separated from everything. It really allows you to get a little bit of everything. We waited at the bar for a few minutes while our table was being prepared and it was such a chill atmosphere to hang out in. I’m excited that we found this place and plan to bring our family next time!

The food here is incredible. Cefalù is hands down some of the best Italian food that I’ve had in New York in a long time. We ordered everything to share, and to start we had the Cacio e Pepe bites, the crispy delicata squash rings, crispy calamari, kale Caesar salad. The Cacio e Pepe bites are a delicious twist of fried Mac and Cheese meets a classic Italian rice ball. The squash rings were fried to perfection served with a Calabrian chili aioli that wasn’t too spicy but had the perfect amount of flavor. For our main course we ordered the Spicy Rigatoni Alla Vodka, Cacio e Pepe, Lobster Mac & Cheese, Short Rib Cavatelli, Brussel Sprouts, and the Stinger Pizza. All I can say is WOW. The Spicy Rig was chefs kiss and served with a generous portion of fresh burrata on top. The Cacio e Pepe had the right amount of cream with the perfect blend of black pepper and pecorino Romano cheese. The short rib in the Cavatelli was braised to perfection and the meat was tender. The Lobster Mac and Cheese was so creamy and had chunks of real lobster tail (for $19 you really can’t beat the quality of ingredients and portion size on this!). The Stinger pizza is a great combo of sweet and savory. It has spicy soppressata, fresh mozzarella, and a drizzle of hot honey. The Brussel Sprouts were crispy and charred and had this wonderful orange citrus honey drizzled over them. Even though we were stuffed, we had to have dessert. We ordered cheese cake (absolutely amazing and came with cannolis) and the brownie with ice cream. Needless to say, we left stuffed but we left beyond happy and satisfied with this amazing meal.

Not only was the food incredible, but the staff treated us like family. The owners Joe and Riccardo were so friendly and all of the waiters and bar staff were attentive and kind. They gave us super cute stickers that said “Best Za in Town” and I’d have to agree with that statement!

We sat on the bar side of the restaurant, which was more casual, but there is a private dining side that is perfect for family parties and more formal gatherings. The restaurant was very clean and so was their restroom.

I’ll definitely be coming back and bringing my whole family. Major kudos to this place!

you live in or around Huntington, this place needs no introduction — but I’m going to say it anyway.

Cefalù is consistently excellent. The food is incredible every single time, the service is on point, and the cocktails are dangerous in the best way.

I sell homes, I fly drones, and I judge restaurants on two things: great service and seriously good food — Cefalù checks every box.

During the holidays, the atmosphere just hits differently. The décor, the energy, the attention to detail — it all sets the mood.

This is a true staple for our family. Quality always wins.

If you know, you know. And if you don’t — now you do.

Recently had my daughter’s party there and it was a hit! My family and I love to eat, especially being Italian and everyone was happy with the food and I was given compliments galore for the amazing food! It definitely was a great time and everything was done to perfection including, personalized menus for my event, cake, and set up of table and balloons! I highly recommend you stay in touch with the owner Joe who is an excellent host and Morgan for anything you need. They all work so closely together and make sure all is done with special attention to detail. The calamari, pizza, agnolotti pasta and entrees were delicious!

Love love love this place! I came across it searching for another restaurant online and I am so glad I did. It’s Sicilian cuisine which is rare in Huntington and Long Island for that matter. We Went for lunch today and everything was amazing. Allie was at the bar and our server, we sat by the bar as there was a private party in the main dining area. Allie was so nice, very friendly and great with suggestions she also continued to check on us. Joe the owner was there and we said hello and chatted a bit super friendly. His brother Ricardo is there running the line again great guys with respect. The Vibes in here are very welcoming, laid back, warm and cozy it was decorated for Christmas and there were lights all over so beautiful. I love the decor from movies to sports and pictures of Sicily. The Godfather picture was my favorite..

The spicy vodka rigatoni is a must try! Fresh tasting, The sauce is perfection..With the Buratta mozzarella on top, it’s heaven. Also as an app ask for The Panelle (fried chick pea fritters) it is a Sicilian staple and the only place I’ve managed to find them are in my old neighborhood in Brooklyn. They were crisp sprinkled with grated cheese and lemon to squeeze on top Mmmmmm along with some potato croquettes. My brother in law got the chicken parm and it was very tasty the chicken was tender as well. I cannot wait to go back and try some more dishes, the pizza looks serious. I highly recommend coming here for lunch or dinner.

12/25/23 We catered a few dishes for Christmas and it was beyond expectations the shrimp oreganata and flounder were amazing along with the house salad. I don’t know what’s in the salad dressing but I was dipping my Italian bread in it. Delicious!!! Very fairly priced. Highly recommend.

12/31 We had New Year’s Eve dinner here
and it was amazing! Baked clams were like butter so delicious and my scallops entree special were an amazing combination of flavors. The limcello lemonade is a great cocktail not too sweet refreshing and it hit the spot.

Incredible experience! I had the braised lamb with pappardelle pasta — rich, tender, and absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the salmon, which was perfectly cooked and beautifully seasoned. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. A true gem of an Italian restaurant. We’ll definitely be back!

I took my husband here Friday night for his birthday. I heard good things about this restaurant from neighborhood groups on social media. However, our experience fell a little short. Our waiter seemed agitated with us as soon as we put our order in. I ordered a drink, the alcoholic lemonade (it was ok) and my daughter and husband just got water. We didn’t get appetizers, but all three of us ordered the pasta and meatballs, my daughter getting the kids version. I will say the bread and oil dip with Parmesan, olives and red peppers that comes with the order was so delicious we asked for more (though our waiter seemed annoyed by that too). My daughter refused the meatball and my husband and I weren’t too impressed. My husband makes homemade meatballs much better and we were expecting meatballs like the one Del Vino makes (those are so good). Maybe we ordered wrong but a good Italian restaurant should have amazing meatballs no? Perhaps they have better pizza dishes, who knows? Suffice it to say, we won’t be returning. The place was cute but the service was a little cranky and the food not too tasty. Sorry! We wanted to like this place!

Some of the best Italian food on all of Long Island. Come here for the “traditional” stuff like their entrees & pastas and you will understand what I’m talking about. The Calamari is perfect — lightly battered and crispy, yet deliciously tender. The brick pressed chicken was unbelievably good and felt like a perfectly made homemade meal. The chicken parm over penne was perfectly made—sauce delicious, pasta cooked perfectly, but more importantly, the chicken was juicy, tender, and breaded perfectly.

I can’t recommend this place enough if you are looking for great quality food, great service, and a very comfortable environment from the dining room to the bar area.
