The food was good. Most of it was cooked perfectly, my son’s lamb chops needed to be sent back for a little more time, they were raw.

The service was great. At first we thought our waitress was named Karen, but she ended up being wonderful.

If you’re looking for an elegant dinner experience, this is probably not the place. Be prepared to spend an elegant amount of money while people in hoodies, blue jeans, and ball caps walk by. If you’re going to allow this, at least throw some potatoes and asparagus on the plate with the steak!

I went to cedars steaks&oysters restaurant on 2/5/26 to get something to eat for lunch at the bar at 12:30 or so? The Burger I ordered was ok,though (nothing to Rave about) the Tomatoes I asked for were WAY Too Overripe&most likely were frozen though I can’t prove it? All I know is when you work in a restaurant setting in the “back of the house” your Supposed to maintain High quality of Not only The food that you cook but also any “Fresh produce” that your trying to incorporate into the dishes you prepare&make!! There is CLEARLY Something wrong when some things “become Very inconsistent”&by visiting here today PROVES THAT!! The Saving grace&Good thing to come out of this less than great experience is the Guy bartender who’s name I don’t know made me a Couple Excellent Cocktails for which I’m VERY GRATEFUL FOR!! His name is Allan I Wish him all the best&Continued Success now&in the future.

Superior service. Our waitress was one of the hardest working ever! Constantly filling our drinks and hustling for our food.

Enjoyed the ribeye. Good portion size and great Caesar’s salad. The sides were excellent. Steak was cooked just right.

Desserts were a bit smaller and the only flavor of ice cream was vanilla. Still excellent steakhouse.

I wasn’t impressed with the food at all. We had Ribeye and salmon for entrees added 3 pieces of shrimp for extra $15. Steak was dry. Shrimp had seasoning that didn’t taste good at all. Vegetables were hard. Salmon was dry. Lobster bisque was ok. Caesar salad was good. Three Fingers Jack Cabernet was delicious. Over all, I don’t recommend.

Hi all… SKIP this breakfast with Santa! I reserved on 11/12 with no menu posted for 11/29. On 11/28 i saw the menu posted and noticed it was $65/pp age 5 and over!!!! I called at 2pm on 11/28 to see if I can cancel and they said no, it was less than 24 hours in advance, i would have to pay $25/pp fee. This is not right seeing how when I booked it nowhere did it have the menu or prices. It wasn’t even noted that it was a buffet. Also, while the omelet station and food in the warming dishes was good, the food that the chefs prepared and had sitting on the shelf was old and hard as a rock. We tried the croissants at two different times and both were hard and stale, and the pancakes were hard and stale as well, completely inedible. Not at all what I expect for $30/pp never mind the whopping $65! My bill was less for dinner at Hells Kitchen and that was delicious and service outstanding!
Re: service- the hostess didn’t even talk- no hello, no explanation of how the buffet worked, no one even offered to take photos of the fam with Santa which for over $200 for 2 adults and a small kid I expected at the minimum.

Sighhhh.. food has gone way wayyy downhill, unfortunately. My fiance and I were going to go to Hells Kitchen for dinner but decided to go to Cedars. Big mistake. We ordered the beef short ribs risotto for an appetizer. It was pretty good. The 2 regular rolls were rock hard. The cranberry ones were ok. The raspberry butter was divine. We asked for more rolls when a different waiter came to our table because they were hard. One roll was left in the basket, but he clearly saw we each had one uneaten one on our plates. He brought back a basket..with ONE roll in it.
Before the waiter came to take our order, he checked on the table next to us and the lady complained that her prime rib was way too raw. We avoided it. My fiancé ordered the filet mignon, MEDIUM, a lobster tail and side of Mac n cheese. I ordered the beef short rib entree. His lobster tail came out first by a rather miserable looking blond lady. She dropped the plate and left witout a word. I looked at it and said ‘I wouldn’t eat that’. It definitely was previously frozen for awhile and just looked yuck. His filet came out and he cut it in half. It was cold and completely raw and uncooked in the middle. Even the waiter said it was definitely undercooked. He took it back, then brought it back out. The same pieces of meat but they had char marks on them. Now it was overcooked on the outside. He was hungry, so he did start to eat. The manager did come over and ask what went on with the steak and he told him. My fiance did end up eating his food, but regret that decision at 3 am.
My meal was ok. No complaints. We paid $250 for a very, VERY bland, less than mediocre meal. If you’re looking to drop this kind of money on somewhere fancy and delicious…go to Hells Kitchen. Cedars is hanging on by a thread and its unraveling. Not worth that kind of money at all!!

This was our first visit, and unfortunately, the service left us disappointed.
We were a party of three, and when our server first came to the table, she asked only two of us what we wanted to drink and did not acknowledge my wife. After receiving our drinks, we waited 10–15 minutes before our order was taken.
While waiting, we noticed other couples being seated, greeted promptly, offered drinks, and given bread in a timely manner. Our table received bread much later than surrounding tables.
After our food arrived, it was about 15–20 minutes before the first check-in. By that time, I had finished my meal while the rest of my party was halfway through theirs.
I understand it was Valentine’s Day, and holidays can be busy. However, the restaurant did not appear overcrowded, and other tables seemed to be receiving more consistent attention.
Our server (a tall woman with long blonde hair — we didn’t catch her name) appeared attentive to other tables but less so to ours.
We were looking forward to trying this restaurant, but unfortunately, our first impression was not a positive one.

Enjoyable Dinner &Graduation Celebration.

We went to the restaurant for a college graduation celebration. We had to make a reservation through the manager weeks in advance. We had nine people in our party. The food was pricey; steaks are not cheap. Everyone one enjoyed their meal. My meal was a little salty and they did over and put the sauce on the side. The server was really nice; she is the reason for the extra star. At the end, they gave us a nice little cake on the house for the celebration. Lastly it’s inside the casino & we park in the Pequot Parking Garage
