I had high hopes, but some ofthe food was really bad unfortunately. Just be careful what you order. We tried the meat pies for an app, and we could hear them microwaving them. They came out with soggy bread and tasted quite stale. We ordered a Lebanese coffee, and it was lukewarm at best. Maybe we’ll try again during the day, but 7:30 pm on a Saturday apparently is not the time to go. The main entree was worth taking the risk to try again.

May be the best hidden gem in the downtown. The food is amazing. The service is super. We tried the mix platter and love it. We also ordered the shawarma sandwich and it was very good.
The pita bread can use a great deal of help. The spices and the Mediterranean taste is very evident. The location is amazing. The decor is nostalgic.

We made a stop on our way to the Smoky Mountains and were blown away by the food here! The staff confirmed everything was halal, which was a big plus. We tried the shawarma and the BBQ platter—with chicken, mutton, and beef—and every bite was packed with flavor. If you’re used to desi-style BBQ, you’ll find this even better. Honestly, I can’t decide if authentic Turkish food beats this—it’s that good. Definitely a must-try!

Ordered online and was really disappointed with the food. The tabbouleh and dolmas were too acidic/vinegary to eat, almost sour even. The schwarma was strangely flavor balanced, a lot of cinnamon kind of taking the front of the flavor? I wasn’t impressed for the price, plus the fries were limp and I only got like 6 of em /: I was really looking forward to an authentic meal but it left really wanting. Even made my own tzatziki sauce at home to try and save it but it wasn’t enough wound up eating only half of a $40 because the flavor was so dismal

Stopped by Cedars Lebanese Restaurant, and while I was looking forward to a great meal, my experience was pretty mixed. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic — lots of cool artwork and a welcoming feel.

We have 6 people visited this place. Great ambiance however when we place an order it took longer than expected. Only one person who was taking and serving.
Salad was bit sour. We placed two Falafel Salad and both of them have different kind of vegetables.
It was also mentioned that they will get charged 18% extra for 6 or more person. Also it’s bit expensive here..

Went here with a friend after looking around online for a good middle eastern restaurant to go to, and was quite excited since I’ve always wanted to try Lebanese cuisine. We get there and there’s literally no one else eating since it was a Monday evening anyway, yet it still took our waiter at least 10 minutes to come take our order after leaving our menus. The wait for the food was a good while, but that was okay since it’s all fresh made. My food came out about 10 or so minutes before my friends, and our appetizer, which was just falafel, also came out about 5 minutes after my food. Not once were we checked on either. My food wasn’t bad but could have been better (Lamb Shawarma platter), but the tahini sauce that came with the falafel was very bitter and distasteful. My friend said her food (Shish Taouk Wrap) left a bitter aftertaste and just wasn’t good overall. Afterwards we had to remind the singular waiter for our check to come, who was playing on his tablet at the counter not exactly tending to any other customers who had walked in. He could not have been older than 16, but didn’t really seem to care or try to do his job at all. The service really put a downer on everything, on top of okay-ish food.

We had dinner on a Monday.evening. Very disappointed.with food and service. A teen was our server and I am sure he did his best but our food came at different times, and one meal was forgotten and brought in after we asked about it. The meats were overcooked, hard and dry. All vegetables were not fresh. We had high hopes having eaten Lebanese food before but left disappointed.

It was great! The food was fabulous and the presentation of the food was beautifully done. The waiter was very attentive to our needs and was so sweet to our little daughter. The prices are good. The atmosphere is great, I love the lanterns and tapestries. Oh and I really loved the music. It was just like the bellydance music that I use to teach bellydance classes.

Here’s a wonderful restaurant that knows exactly how to season Lebanese food! Ordered the halabi kabob platter and a shishi taouk with garlic sauce. It’s rare to start with the sauce, but the garlic sauce was enough to blow your socks off! Perfect compliment to the shish that had big chunks of marvelously grilled chicken. Portions were so generous that it was enough to take home. The kabob had wonderful beef, ground, again expertly seasoned and not overcooked at all. The tabouli was excellent, and so popular that they ran out of it during our dinner. Wonderful fresh lemon and mint with expertly diced tomatoes. We finished everything off with two hot cups of Mint and Honey Ginger mint tea. Perfect. Before tip, this, this feast came to under $60. You may recall when Cedars was under different management. There’s no longer a hookah bar next door, and alcohol is not served. The previous owner/head chef, is not involved anymore, but the new cook has done wonders in working magic with these dishes. Nice comfortable family style environment, and an inviting atmosphere. Try it! (The only reason five stars were not awarded was because there was only cook and one other staff member to handle three or four tables this Sunday evening. Consequently, our orders were a tad slow to arrive, but the food is certainly worth waiting for.)
