It was my first time visiting Cedar Tavern and overall it was a good experience. The service was great and our server did a really nice job taking care of us, especially considering how busy it was. We definitely came at a peak time, so it was pretty loud and packed, but that’s not their fault. You can tell it’s a popular spot. I’d definitely come back and try it again at a quieter time!

They were very under staffed one waitress one cook. I felt so sorry for the employees. I understand short staff but that is when the owners come to the rescue. That wasn’t the cast.

This place was so fun! We went for dinner during a pretty busy time and they only had two servers working – our server was so attentive, we wouldn’t have realized if we weren’t observing. She was also bartending that night and made our drinks very strong! The food was all delicious and prices were very reasonable.

Nice townie dive bar, simple menu and a decent beer selection. It’s a nice change of pace from the other bars that cater more to out of town visitors than locals. Servers were very polite and attentive.

We got there right as they were closing the kitchen, around 8:30. Chris was great. She let us know and got our orders in, no problem! The burgers were delicious. The Boom Boom Wrap was amazing as well. Can’t go wrong with the Reuben either! Great people, atmosphere and food. What else could you ask for? Thank you!

Service was slow from the beginning and got slower. Staff was not personable and didn’t acknowledge any wait time.
We ordered the ronski and the wet burrito. The ronski was unseasoned and lacked any flavor. The best part of the dish was the Ruffles it came with. The wet burrito was okay–not worth the money, but covered with salsa, limey guac and sour cream, it was edible.

Tracy was our server. She was beyond rude. We went to order drinks and she refused because we had our ID stapled to the paper one for when you just turn 21. She said its illegal for us to have it when in fact it is not. Having the paper and your old ID stapled together is a valid form of ID. When she was told that it was legal by the bar manager she started to argue with us. Telling us to “look it up ourselves”. She went back and forth with us even when we told her we wanted a new server. She was arguing back and forth with her manager about it and being rude and invading our personal space to show her that she was “right”. All I have to say is that she is one of the rudest servers I’ve ever had. She needs to be updated on what is right and what is wrong within the liquor commission. Especially because she “used” to be a bar manager. With that being said she also need an attitude adjustment.
