Awesome food and staff was great! We got the ribeyes and prime rib. They have these amazing little fritters that come with your meal and they were so good we got a 6 pack to go!

Extremely busy.. packed full in fact. One waitress was very snippy and rude.. but the rest were fabulous! Food was absolutely delicious! First time here… the tenderloin sandwich is the best! Had to try the “strawberry soup”.. didn’t expect to like it… and we LOVED it!! Highly recommend everyone try it! We will go back… hopefully the one crabby gal was just having a bad day?

Definitely a locals spot but never felt out of place. The drinks were awesome and the bartenders were spot on. Got a drink sat outside and they took our order right there! Inside is super small bar area but was able to get a drink easily. Fritter was awesome and lobster and steak were very good. French onion soup was probably best I’ve had in a long time. Great experience! Also the bourbon selection was fantastic better than any super club around!

Yeah absolutely never again. I’ve never been to a place where the haddock and tenders are so bad that we ended up just saving it for the cats, and there’s no guarantee that they’ll want it either. I don’t even think they want that in their bodies bro. It tasted like they were frozen, thawed, frozen again, and thawed a second time to ensure a disgusting texture.
Also not understanding the point of making reservations just to have to wait almost an extra half hour before we get to sit down. No hate to the servers, they were all 14-16 year olds and doing what they could to ensure a decent service (which they did), the only things that were salvageable were the fritters (hey those used to be a lot bigger too by the way, why’d you shrink them down?) and the French fries. Those are from a freezer, you cannot mess those up.
And your bar customers are rude and entitled, like the most miserable customers there tried to start an issue because there’s no space in your bar. (Edit: it’s not entirely your guys fault the customers suck, that’s just the general population of the area.)
This place sucks lol just don’t even risk it, we should’ve went to pipe for chicken

Have been to Cedar Lodge a couple of times and the food and friendly servers never disappoint! We live about an hour and a half away, but Cedar Lodge is well worth the trip! You start out with warm apple fritters or fruit, followed by salad or pasta salad then soup and an assortment of rolls and then your entree with choice of potato. So much food and super reasonable prices for what you get. Hubby had prime rib with scallops and twice baked potato and I had the special of filet Oscar with twice baked potato The restaurant is tiny so reservations are a must! Only down side is the service feels a bit rushed because of the amount of people waiting to be seated.

This was my first time going to Cedar Lodge and it was not a good experience. When you first walk in the restaurant there are so many people you cant even get in the door. We made reservations for 630pm on a Saturday as I tried to call for two days to get an earlier time slot and the line was busy. All they had was the 630 time slot. There is no hostess to greet you and to check in. No one greets you at all. You have to walk to the overly crowded bar to check in with the bartenders who look like they dont even want to be there. Then as you are standing waiting for your reserved table, the waitress’ and bussers have to squeeze through the mess of people around the bar also waiting for a table. While we are standing there cause it doesnt matter if you make reservations or not apparently, they take your order. The waitresses cant even hear because it is so loud. At this point I was ready to leave. We get seated, right by the bar mind you and not one thing I ordered was correct. I ordered tenderloin tips and got a different cut of meat. My steak was raw! The waitress didnt even ask how I wanted it. I ordered mushrooms with my steak, didnt get them and when I told them they took my plate back and threw mushrooms with no flavor or butter. I would say this place is a total disaster. Waitstaff is way overworked. We waited so long to be seated and were rushed to eat and leave. I believe that is why they take your order before you get seated. I didnt even know who our waitress was as nothing in this place is personable at all. You are a number, that is it. The only thing good about this place is the fritter and I can go to my local bakery for that. I DO NOT recommend. Waste of time and money.

Ok. My backstory first.
Drive past this place every week, and have noticed it prior to driving past every day for work. Been on the buckelist for some time.
We go in today, packed in a great way. All the patrons were very orderly and courteous with new faces coming in. Invited us to the bar to get an old fashioned, and helped us out with the process: You order a drink and say you want to order, and they will find you. We were skeptical, but sure schnitzel, they found us to order. Drinks were great with an amazing offering, and pretty great beer selection as well.
Food: Amazing staff handling thr seating, and offering suggestions. Love the sweet tooth integration with orders (have to visit to see what I mean). Spot on Fritters to start?!?!?! Strawberry soup?? Think the cold slurry that is the best part of a strawberry Sunday. Unexpected, but great! Steak was a great cut and prepared exactly how I ordered- chef recommendation. My wife got the perch, which was light and amazing as well. To finish, we got the pistachio cheesecake. What. The. Heck. Amazing. VERY well done- kudos to the female chef that was on the edge thinking it was too sweet, from what we heard…
Been on the buckelist for some time, glad we stopped and will be back.
Thank you folks, and CHEERS!

Food was superb! Love the blue cheese sauce. Excellent soups and desserts. Very small I side but cozy and everyone is so nice and understanding if you accidently bump them. Nice seating out front to wait for your table. Menu selection is great too! The fritter is always the best. Of course I’m gluten free and can’t eat it but my friend enjoyed hers.

We had reservations for 6:30 for 7 people. When we walked in, it was wall to wall people. Could barely walk through! After 25 minutes, waitress took our orders while squeezing through the crowd. We felt totally rushed through dinner. I asked for a clean spoon, the waitress said it’s the dishwasher, they are all like that. Told her that I wanted a new one anyway. She wasn’t too happy. My prime rib was very fatty. The waitresses were good, but very rushed. The place used to be good, but not anymore. Won’t go back.
