My dad and I ate at the Cedar House tonight. Having worked in town, I had heard mixed reviews. Despite the many bad, we tried it out for ourselves. We ordered two chicken strip dinners. Both came out with raw chicken. We sent the chicken back and the waitress was friendly. For what we got, the price is too high, the food was bland and by the time we received new chicken strips the rest of our food was cold. I would not recommend this restaurant nor would I ever go back. I do hope they take criticism and improve the quality of their food. As for the cleanliness of the restaurant, it was pretty clean.

Ordered the prime rib special and it was awful. We were all hungry and on a schedule so re-ordering or sending it back was not an option. No flavor. Looked like it was out of a crock pot not off a grill. Ordered medium, got tough. Looking back, I wish I would have ordered a corn dog because those look really good.
On a better note:
The fries are awesome if you like crispy-ish deliciousness. Yum! The salad bar wasn’t half bad.

Our waitress was very sweet, and super friendly! She made sure to check on us, get refills, greeted everyone with a smile, and made sure to tell everyone walking out to have a good day! LOVE witnessing that!!!

Had an excellent steak, everything was fresh and delish. Oh, and the chicken is also very good. I’m not a big chicken strips fan but Cedar House Grill has amazing strips!
