We went here for Valentine’s Day and were very disappointed with the food. We had asked for a steak cooked medium well, it came out red in the middle and seared on the outside. The value of the food we got was also no where near the amount we spent. The total came out to $300 for the 2 of us. We got a salad with zucchini, tomato and bell pepper, a pita bread and dip appetizer and a severely undercooked steak. I wouldn’t think that would be worth $150..

In addition to the food problems we had, two other tables near us also had problems and requested to speak with the manager. We did the same, and the manager was very kind. He ended up refunding a portion of our check to cover the steak.

Some highlights: Chris, our server, was top notch. Despite all the issues he was quick, polite, and helpful. We never ran out of water which I feel is sometimes a problem. They also gave a rose to each of the women that were dining there for V Day.

Had been wanting to try this place for a while, and we were pretty underwhelmed unfortunately. The space is beautiful and very relaxing. I like the Middle Eastern accents and it’s a striking bar. The food however is missing something and very over priced for what you get. The highlights were the Zaatar Martini and Lamb Chops. Really nice flavors and unique. However you only get 2 chops for $32. The Chorizo Hummus has pretty much no Chorizo flavor and did not taste that fresh. You have to order pita a la carte, and of course, the amount you get is not enough to eat the Hummus that’s served, so you end up having to order 2 orders of Pita which you end up wasting. The salad is is just chopped raw veggies with oil and vinegar which did not seem interesting enough for what was charged. I’ve had much better Mediterranean food for a lot less, I don’t feel this place is worth it. I might go back for a cocktail and an appetizer, and that’s about it.

This is an elegant speakeasy type location. We loved the ambiance. We made reservations the morning of and only 7pm was available. They let us dine earlier. They even allowed us to switch to a corner table where we could sit closer together. It’s a small bar located upstairs right beside Don Orange. It was a little difficult to locate at first. Place can only host 40-45 ppl or so and only half of the tables were full. It’s not a place to get super full stomach. It’s more of a bar with smaller appetizers that are best shared with just 2 ppl. We loved the flavors and combinations of the food. They’re pricey but I feel like it’s worth it especially for date night or a special occasion. We were vibing to their musical selections of Aaliyah, Masego, and Don Tolliver. Daniel was our waiter and he was very kind and accommodating. I’d recommend trying everything we ordered especially the Lebanese Florets, Muhammara Rojo, and Pita Bread.

CREAM Light (really good lemonade, sweet and a little sour): 4.5/5
Falafel Pockets: 4/5
Lebanese Florets: 5/5
Pescado y Tarator: 4.5/5
Pita Bread: 4.5/5
Muhammad’s Rojo: 5/5
Baklava Cheesecake: 4/5

My husband and I were looking for a restaurant to have an intimate dinner celebration for our wedding. We scheduled a tour of the restaurant with Natalie. Natalie responded to our inquiry promptly and we immediately fell in love with the restaurant. The restaurant has a really lovely atmosphere and vibe which I knew wouldn’t require any decorations since it’s already really beautiful. Natalie was always really helpful when selecting a menu and letting us create a playlist for our reception. She even created a timeline itinerary for us to follow during the dinner which was super helpful! We did have close to 50 guests and we wished they had more tables and chairs, but Natalie was very flexible with coordinating everything and working with my MOH. Overall, we had an amazing experience. The food was great and all our guests were amazed ! The scenery is great for pictures too.

The food was delicious, and the service was great. But I’m giving it 4 stars because it is overpriced. We ordered the halibut, chicken skewers, falafel pocket, potatoes, hummus with chorizo, and a side a bread. While it may seem like it’s a lot of food, the portions are very small (ie: the chicken skewers were $26 and only included two skewers and a tiny, tiny side of cabbage salad). All this was over $100 (not including tip).

I will say 2 because they at least let us sit at bar before dinner and the ambiance was good , but… so dissatisfied with the food: chicken not fully cooked, beef still raw, portions super small, bread taste like costco pitas, one of our person in party if 4 dinner never came out until we flagged someone down n waited over 10 min . No apology given
So bad there save yourself the $$

very cute date ambience. space is a little tight, you’ll definitely overhear the convos next to you.

didn’t get to try much food (came from ayce bbq). the appetizers were okay, would skip the taquitos. best item was the baklava cheesecake. everything very pricey.

cocktails ($16-$18) were great. some cool wine from mexico, morocco and lebanon.

Best thing about this speak easy is the staff. They go above and beyond. Cocktails were good but the presentation can be better. Vodka drink with black tea was really good.

Food and drinks were delicious but never in my life have I spent 200 dollars for two people and left still hungry. The portions are laughably small. Had a nice time but I don’t think I’d ever go back there.
