From the moment I sat down, I was struck by how thoughtfully designed everything felt nothing rushed, nothing loud, just effortlessly elegant. The warm green walls, mustard-gold velvet chairs, and soft globe lighting created an intimate atmosphere that made the entire meal feel special. I ordered a rigatoni in a rich tomato-based sauce topped with fresh burrata, and every bite was indulgent without being heavy. The service was attentive but never intrusive, allowing the experience to unfold at a relaxed, European pace. Wanted to do Italian so we found one in the alley near the Glendale Marketplace. We just decided to hop in for a light lunch and we were surprised!
We really enjoyed everything and tuna tartare really did it for us. Amazing flavors and we’d get this again in a heartbeat.
Shrimp scampi was flavorful with thicker pasta than I’ve had before but man I could eat two portions of this!
Burrata salad was good too, but we did expect regular tomato slices rather than the cherry tomatoes, slightly disappointed but does not matter.
Served was attentive and kind. I highly recommend for a light lunch! Don’t know why the place was so empty on a weekend!

Very pretty place, not too busy on Sunday, but the food did not match the decor, or the price.
The decor is high end, the music very nice and relaxing, the prices are high end, I was expecting great food, but it was just mid at best. Look at the pictures of the Neapolitan pizza for example, the crust is not risen enough, not airy. This is not a Neapolitan pizza by any measure.

I had brunch with my sisters at Cecil’s today, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, creating a warm, elegant, and inviting atmosphere.
The food was delicious and prepared to perfection—each dish was flavorful and thoughtfully presented. We enjoyed some wine and treated ourselves to desserts, all of which were simply divine.
Our waiter and the entire staff were incredibly professional, attentive, and kind. The service was seamless and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our visit.
Overall, it was a very tasteful and elegant experience. Cecil’s truly stands out as a five-star restaurant, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

I kept walking by and this place looked beautiful and inviting. I finally stopped by last week and the food was delicious!! I ordered a dish from each category; salad, apetitzer, sandwich, pasta, pizza, and pistachio gelato. Everything was delicious! Plus, the service was great. Love the decor and styling as well. A few reviews spoke about prices, and I have to disagree. Their prices are very well suitable for the quality, service, and atmosphere. Better than some famous Beverly Hills restaurants! So happy we have authentic Italian food to chose from! Thank you and I’ll definitely be dining here again.

We started with a salad made of tomatoes, cheese, and watermelon—so fresh and beautifully balanced, it was the perfect start. Then came the pizza with cheese and truffles… absolutely divine. The flavors were rich and comforting, with that perfect crisp crust that’s hard to find outside of Italy.
But the real showstopper? The lamb ribs. Cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and falling off the bone. We couldn’t stop talking about them. And just when we thought it couldn’t get better, dessert arrived: a Dubai-style chocolate treat and hot chocolate so silky and luxurious, it felt like a warm hug in a cup.

We had dinner here on Christmas. It was so special. We were treated so well. The atmosphere was perfect. My husband and I had large portions of filet mignon with creamy mashed potatoes. For dessert we had tiramisu, which I normally am not a fan of but my son-in-law and daughter were with us and we shared a very large bowl of it, which was to die for. No skimping on quality ingredients here. The decor was fabulous with very comfy dining chairs, as though you were sitting in your living room. My son-in-law was raised in Sicily, Italy and he loved this place too. We will have to go back again!

I wasn’t sure where to begin! My first time dining in was when they opened earlier this year in 2025, and I’m so glad to have this amazing restaurant here in the heart of Glendale. The food is so delicious I always look forward to my next visit and trust me Ive already been here multiple times. Everything is AMAZING! From the pasta, to pizza, salads, lovely cocktails, and of course, the delicious desserts—the list goes on! The ambiance is perfect and definitely makes it a lovely place to visit. Whether it’s with friends, family, or your spouse you are bound to enjoy your lunch and dinner here. Highly recommend!
