Consistently excellent. I will always choose Cecil’s over any other pizza in the area! Although I only pickup, staff is very friendly as well.

Cecil is my favorite take on STL pizza and I highly recommend it to people who are trying STL style for the first time or 50th.
That being said it’s takeout and delivery only now, it’s expensive like other STL style counterparts, and unfortunately the quality is not always consistent. It’s worth a try but it’s understandable that it’s not for everyone.

This used to be our go to Pizza place, we would eat here least once a week. A while back, it changed hands. Some things are better….they’re working remodeling the place and it looks much more modern and I appreciate that they’ve pretty much kept the same menu. The biggest disappointment is the pizza itself. Ever since it’s been under new ownership, they pizza is bad. If there’s sauce on it, there’s very little, the toppings and cheese don’t extend all over the pizza (St. Louis style pizza doesn’t have crust). And the pizza is dry and doesn’t have any flavor. My kids even ask what’s wrong with the pizza. It’s not an enjoyable place to dine anymore, in fact, after giving several chances to the new owners, we don’t go there anymore. There are new employees who don’t seem to know what they’re doing and as for the new owners…..I’ve never once seen them there. My kids have grown up on this pizza, now they never ask to go here anymore. FYI, the pizza pictured below is from our last visit, I asked for extra sauce, this was the best one we’ve had. Be sure to request extra sauce!!

Alright. Came in here to pick up an order. Learned they had bosco sticks. Nowhere has bosco sticks. Tho maybe I’m just looking in the wrong place. I came back after I delivered to get the bosco sticks. Man was that the best choice I’ve ever made. Though a little pricy ($10 for 3), they were incredible. The sticks themselves were cooked to perfection, coated in parm, and with a delicious red sauce on the side. The cheese was melted perfectly, and the bread was exactly as dry but delicious as I remember in middle school. Everybody in the shop seemed friendly. Though I only interacted with one gentleman, who seemed to be the oldest working there. He was super kind and helpful. Absolutely would come back and order a pizza next time. And I don’t even like St. Louis style pizza (hate me)

The pizza was good but I couldn’t believe how gross the salad was. There were all kinds of soggy brown peices of lettuce . We had to throw it out.

Haven’t ordered from here in probably 2 years because the quality was so poor the last several times we ordered. Tonight I wanted a salad and pizza to have an easy dinner. It was supposed to be delivered in under an hour. I called to find out where our delivery was when we had reached an hour and 26 minutes. The customer service is lacking. The man that answered the phone said it should be there soon and failed to offer any apology and he abruptly hung up after telling me it should be here.
Fast forward to the delivery, I will say the food was hot which surprised me but we are 2 minutes away from the store. Their house salad dressing is not great. It is not the original Cecil’s house dressing and has a very strong vinegar taste. We ordered a pizza and pasta as well. Both were fine. The “garlic bread” that came with the pasta had no garlic taste to it. It was just a butter toasted half of a hoagie bun. Less than impressive.
Overall I was unimpressed with the lack of customer service, delivery time and food. We won’t be ordering again.
