Cecibon Haitian Restaurant did not disappoint! I ordered the fried goat, mac & cheese, and a passion fruit drink — and everything was absolutely delicious.
The fried goat was perfectly seasoned, tender on the inside with just the right crisp on the outside. You can tell it was prepared with care and authentic flavor. The mac & cheese was creamy, rich, and comforting — the perfect complement to the goat. And the passion fruit drink was refreshing, flavorful, and not overly sweet — just right!
The portions were generous, the food was fresh, and the overall experience felt warm and welcoming. If you’re looking for real Haitian flavors done right, Cecibon is definitely worth it. I’ll absolutely be back! ✨

I was really looking forward to having Cecibon again after being away from Florida for over 10 years. The pikliz, fried chicken, the diri djondjon, and grito were so flavorful, I could taste my childhood. The service was average and slow, but understandable, there was one person at the counter Saturday afternoon and he was working hard taking and pushing orders non-stop. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a typical Haitian restaurant, nothing to see here, just get the food and go.

It was the worst Haitian food I ever ate. The rice has no flavor the sauce looks like water, the the other thing that they cut up with cabbage and carrots, was the worst nastiest thing I ever ate, and the food is not prepared properly. And when you call to explain to them, they give you an attitude like you’re supposed to tell them, the food was good when it was not good. Macaroni and cheese. What is the worst. I just wasted my time and my money please if you ever think of going there, don’t go. If anyone go here and eat and say the food is good, it have to be one of their friends or they just don’t know how to cook. Waste of your time waste of your money and waste of your gas driving to that place I don’t even wanna call the name. It’s that place if I could give it a zero instead of a one star, I would give it a zero.

The cashier was acting like he wished he was anywhere but there. The manager was rude and unwelcoming. They were out of pikliz and the chicken was not fresh and the plantain was hard as rocks. I was so disappointed.

First time visiting fort lauderdale. We ordered from Cecibon to go. We typically get Haitian food in NY and this was absolutely comparable and delicious! Would definitely recommend!

I wish I could give less than a star. I called ahead of time and placed an order for 3 people. When I came 20 min later, the lady at the front desk told me it would take 7 to 10 minutes. One hour went by, I asked for an update and she told me they hadn’t started with my order yet. I then asked for a refund because I had my toddler with my mother waiting in my car. She then told me, with an attitude that I would have to wait because only the cook knew how to process a refund and he was currently busy cooking the food. I had to wait for an additional 10-15 minutes to get my money back. Please keep in mind that it was 90 degrees outside, and there’s no AC inside. I understand that it’s a weekend and there’s could be a delay in getting orders out, but this is unacceptable.

The food here is pretty solid but it’s a hit or miss. There isn’t much consistency in what you’re getting. Sometimes they chef it like your momma made the rice and other times them boys just miss completely. Prices and portions are good though. Calling in a order a hour ahead isn’t a guarantee that your food will be ready by the time you get their either. Also sometimes you gotta call 2-3x and get put on hold before they finally take your order
