We thought we’d stop at this local diner on our way home. It had pretty good reviews but the people who reviewed must have gotten the hamburger. My husband got a burger and said it was real good. I got the special of the day which was chicken livers, mashed potatoes and gravy (which they forgot), green beans and a roll. The green beans tasted like they just opened the can and heated. No flavor. Mashed potatoes were instant. The chicken livers were not so good. I couldn’t even tell they were chicken livers. Nothing like the ones I’m used to. Would not stop there again.

Was greeted pretty rudely by the owner until I held cash, asked for a cup of chili and some cole slaw and after about 15 mins was given a half full cup. Not to be rude but in addition I was told the chili was “amazing” but to be completely honest it taste like generic canned hotdog chili from any other store.

5 stars for being an All-American country diner. The friendly owner came out and greeted our table, welcomed us and took our order. She was very generous with her time and made us feel at home. The food was very good and well proportioned for the price. We’ll definitely be back!

My family and I truly enjoyed visiting C&C Diner, while staying in Lindside on a mini vacation. Our family got plenty to eat on our way into town and loved it so much we returned for a second time to have breakfast on our way out of town. Our kids talked about going back our whole trip. Such friendly and joyful staff. We loved the uplifting, hometown feel. Great way to start the day. If you are in the area be sure to stop by. Thank you for your kindness. God bless.
