Food is much, much better than Telinga’s! We were visiting Murfreesboro from Dallas and had driven up to go to SweetPeas BBQ around the corner. Unfortunately, it was closed. We had just had Telinga’s Mexican Restaurant the night before and weren’t really in the mood for Mexican again, but we were very hungry so stopped — and I’m glad we did! The food was so fresh and delicious. Everything tasted like it had just been cooked fresh for us there on the spot. The chips came out hot, the Mexican rice was fluffy – the carne asada was thin but incredibly flavorful. Service was great. Almost all the tables were filled when we arrived, but the atmosphere was much calmer in there than Telinga’s the night before. Telinga’s was great for the livelier environment but this place wins on food taste and quality, hands down!

Had the T-bone with fries. Everything was spot on! Steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Great service too. I’ll definitely be back!

Everything was wonderful. They even recreated a Mexican dish we eat back home. Waitress was very helpful in giving us some pointers and helpful tips of things to do in the area.

Ordered ahead 2 quesadillas he said 15 to 20 I got there 10 minutes later and it was ready. Food was good polite staff member and adequately staffed for more traffic.

This little place was great! Stayed at Daisy State Park and this was right up the road. Husband just had tacos, but I had the enchiladas Supremas (had to ask for red sauce)- but it was SO good! Overall really good food and service for such a tiny town 🙂

We are out of towners from Oklahoma and wanted some Mexican. You wouldn’t know it from looking outside but the food is AMAZING. Whoever is cooking back there knows what they are doing. I definitely recommend getting the pastor street tacos with corn tortillas it’ll change your life.

The service was good but that was the only good thing about this place. My taco salad was cold the beef tasted like it had no seasoning on it . Was hardly any toppings on it . Was dry and tasteless. My taquitos were burnt and the chicken didn’t have any seasoning on it. The beans and rice were cold . This place got lots of good reviews about the food that’s why I went there. NASTY cold gross food .

This far exceeded our expectations and the flavors hold up against some of the best Mexican restaurants in the bigger cities. Everything on the table was great but the Street Tacos were probably the best! Highly recommend and will definitely be back

Called in a takeout order at 4:40pm and was told it would be ready by in 20 minutes. I arrive at 5:07 assuming I would be able to pay and leave with my food. Instead I pay and then wait for 45 more minutes as at least 8 other to go orders behind mine go out. When mine finally comes out at 5:40, I don’t even get an apology, just a shrug and “the kitchen is busy”. This is pathetic for any business no matter the circumstances.
