It depends on how ravenous you are. I’ve never experienced a Mexican restaurant that was incapable of pumping out food minutes after you order. Maybe this…

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We came in and the restaurant was quiet, so we got seated quickly. Service was a bit slow with things like refills, but we didn’t mind too much since we were catching up with family.

Prices were very reasonable for our party of 9, and the atmosphere was calm and comfortable. Most importantly — the food was delicious! Definitely a spot worth checking out if you’re in the area

The food is very authentic (for the region), and the portions are good, in comparison to the price that is offered. They have a few specialties that I’m sure wil raise a few eyebrows.. I recommend this establishment, if you are on vacation to Indiana beach, and/or are looking for a small hole-in-the wall to satisfy your authentic cantina needs… 3-Stars, because the service left a bit to be desired, and the decor didn’t come off as authentic as the menu, unfortunately… The bar could use a bit more diversity, as well… Overall, a decent dine- in experience for the price.

You WANT the Texas BBQ burrito. Total change of pace with the pulled pork inside, but still full of rice, beans and the fixings. The first bite is strangely satisfying because it isn’t that typical Mexican flavor. Southwestern corn nuggets weren’t too bad either and my wife enjoyed her taco salad.

DEFINITELY WOULDN’T RECOMMEND there was red particles in my water had to swat away flies the food didn’t even taste seasoned i ordered the beef tacos with a corn tortilla they came in a hard shell when you pick up the tacos and take a bite water and grease was running out of the back of them 1 taco covered the whole bottom of the plate they were on with liquid the woman that was my waitress tried to tell me the transaction didn’t go through when it printed a receipt and then she handed me the receipt when I walked out to my car with it she chased me down and asked why did I take her peice of paper overall if I could give this place negative stars my stomach does not feel great after eating this food I will update this if I get food poisoning and if so will be calling the health department

Chicken fajitas were very flavorful. Good mix of vegetables and with all of the fixings that you come to expect for this type of dish. Very filling with plenty to eat. I thought the grilled flour tortillas had a nice flavor to them as well. Will have to go back and try other menu items. Very good service as well.

The food here is your typical Tex-Mex for Indiana, which isn’t going to blow you out of the water or anything but it was a decent family meal. For 6 people I paid 88 with one drink. The service however was abhorrent. I have worked in the food industry for a long time, I don’t even know if I’ve written a bad review for a restaurant. We were seated next to a leaking ceiling, I didn’t even know until my back was wet and my significant other told me. We were there an hour a fifteen minutes for something that we were looking to be in and out. We were seated and then it took over 10 minutes to get a high chair and another 10 before we even had drinks taken and then even longer before any chips and salsa. I watched a guy inhale a whole basket and have a refill that was seated around the same time while my kids were restless and hungry. We ordered our food and they brought everything except one meal (and cold queso, ew), we asked for salt and pepper, another time lapse passed until I waved down a lady for napkins and said we’re waiting on another meal too as everyone was finishing. Then the waitress came with the meal, no salt and pepper, didn’t matter though because everyone else was done except my elderly grandma whose food was delivered last. I would like to add that a 6 and 4 had been fed as we sat, there was only another 4 and 2 – 2 tops with 3 waitresses. If you know food you know that’s absolutely bonkers. I stayed to let her try to enjoy my meal while my significant other left with my children. When she was ready (because she’d rather just finish it in the car at this point), I personally went up to ask for the bill and the manager. When she came up, who I assume is the owner because while we were waiting to be served she was out socializing with her baby on the floor, she only gave excuses no discount, no actual apology besides she knows it’s not too great. On the way out I accompanied my grandmother to the restroom, where while I was waiting, out of a room close to us a baby girl came out, maybe a year old, and was messing with the toy machines. I heard a movie and saw a dark room with kids laying down and I coerced her to go back in there as I didn’t believe it safe for her to wander, as I finally convinced her to go back in, the same woman waved her in and thanked me.

I’m a mother of three, I manage a business, I get it. But with such big elaborate decorations and fixtures you could spend more money in better staffing and maybe some help with the kids.

Don’t expect anything except below standard service and standard Tex mex or you’ll be disappointed.

Restaurants not really busy but the food came out pretty quick and it was actually tasty. It wasn’t dry wasn’t planned. They do not have homemade tortillas just like all the other Mexican stores out here. Food was good

Didn’t even have orange juice for my drink! Food was not good and the waitress couldn’t even understand English . Won’t be back. They included their tip on the check and made us pay for poor service.
