This restaurant offers genuine Salvadorian cuisine, and the portion sizes are impressively generous. I highly recommend trying the la parrillada plate, which is perfect for those who appreciate a hearty serving of high-quality proteins. It’s a delightful feast for anyone who enjoys a robust and flavorful meal.

The worse pupusa ever. We ordered pork and cheese pupusa. No cheese. And the pork is soggy nasty. I’ve ordered from here before same pupusa and it was good. Not anymore.

Best asada tacos I’ve had in a long time. No funky pieces of meat and the perfect amount of onions and cilantro. I’m definitely going back!
Update: been back a couple of times and the tacos seem to have lost some flavor. Subtracted one star after visiting again.

Decent food at a good price. I came here for pupusas and was happy with their quality. There were more items I wanted to try than I could eat! Jalapeño pupusa was fresh and flavorful, and cooked well. Revueltas had nice flavor but if they had any pork in them it was very little. Cabbage slaw was a good addition.

It’s been too long since I was in El Salvador. So I can’t compare the papusa’s ( the popular cheep street food there ).
But they are made fresh, steaming hot, and with the shredded cabbage side and two kinds of spicy sauce. Green and red. They make all the traditional fillings. Plus americanized fillings.
They are tasty and worth the price. A little over $3.35 ea.
I’m a little confused by the menu on the store front. Not sure what the $10 below the papusa’s is referring to. Anyways Unless I find a better taste or the same for less at many of the other Salvadorian restaurants in Washington.
Definitely brought back memories of good times when I was there with friends and their families
Happy eats!

Absolutely incredible pupusas. The flavor and quality is unmatched. The tamales are wonderful as well. We’ve gone out of our way to make a stop for more food. It is a hidden gem inside a Hispanic Mercado with several shops located inside. There is plenty of seating room in a food court type atmosphere. The workers are very friendly and service is as quick as expected for freshly cooked food.

I came to order 4/6 food and it was so full there was no chairs however the cashier was not customer service at all and she suggested we cancel our order instead of saying she will grab a table and clean it for us. I told her she must not be the owner because an owner would do everything to keep their client. Rude to say the most
