At Cave Man BBQ every thing we serve is built with Cave Man Mike’s mantra: Never serve a meal you wouldn’t devour yourself. a rule laid down by his mother and the reason our menu is stacked with food that’s been tasted, tested and is worthy of fighting a mammoth for! Here, patties are made from local regeneratively farmed dry aged beef. Pit smoked BBQ is done the prehistoric way. Sides are caveman sized and our sauces are hand made like accent potions with no flimsy flavours. Our pride is feeding you something big and bold enough to wake a sleeping saber-tooth!

Such amazing smash burgers!! Cooked to perfection. The chips are so good, probably the best I have ever had. The chocolate malt milkshake was so yummy. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, really lovely people. And it’s so clean and tidy with such an amazing atmosphere.

2nd time here and it was AMAZING once again! The chicken was fried to perfection, both burgers were delicious and well put together. The fries were hot, fresh, crispy and perfectly seasoned. Mac and cheese could use some more flavour but still pretty delicious.

I stumbled upon Cave Man BBQ in Port Kennedy while browsing Uber Eats, and boy, am I glad I did! I had no idea this gem existed until then. Now, I make it a point to order from here once a month before my flights to Jakarta, it’s become my pre-travel ritual. And with each visit, I’m becoming a bit of a frequent customer, always eager to try a new dish as I work my way through the menu.
The online menu looked absolutely mouthwatering, packed with all sorts of yummy BBQ options like ribs, pulled pork, brisket, and loaded burgers. I couldn’t decide at first, so I went for the Ultimate BBQ Meat Box, and it was spot on. Double crunchy chips loaded with slow-cooked BBQ meat, two types of cheese, BBQ sauce, and their house-made sauces, pure flavor explosion! It arrived just as delicious as it looked in the photos, with a great combo of smoky, cheesy, and saucy goodness.
Fast forward to tonight, and I finally tackled one of their standout burgers: the loaded bacon cheeseburger with seasoned fries. Oh man, it was a game-changer! Juicy beef patty stacked with crispy bacon, melted cheese oozing everywhere, a tangy mustard drizzle, all hugged by a perfectly toasted sesame bun. Paired with those golden, spice-kissed fries in the checkered-lined takeout box, it was pure comfort on a plate. The smokiness from the BBQ roots shines through, making every bite feel indulgent yet crave-worthy. If the Meat Box set the bar high, this burger just raised it to the roof!
After this, I could never go back to a basic meat box from a kebab shop (or a subpar burger joint). This is next-level stuff, folks. If you’re in Port Kennedy, do yourself a favor and try it, start with the Meat Box, then level up to their burgers. Can’t wait for my next ritual! Highly recommended.

the tenders were cooked perfectly and juicy. the burger had a double beef patty, yes actual ground beef! generous portions and the food is served on crockery with real cutlery. I love that this place treats its patrons like adults!

Absolutely hands down the best burgers in WA, and I highly recommend their shakes too. I can’t believe how much flavour they pack in! Service is fast and friendly.

I had the platter, the brisket was melt in your mouth and flavourful, and hubby had a burger, the amount of meat in it was generous. I’m amazed at the amount of food served for the price I had to pay! It’s really worth it.! Service is above par. The gentleman was alone but delivered his service like a trooper! Kudos to him (lunch time 31/01/2025)

Honestly, we were a bit cautious pulling up at night to what kind of looked like an empty deli, but holy crap we were blown away. Quirky burger names made us giggle, food was amazing, took about 15 mins to come out, we got 2 sides, 2 mains, 2 drinks, a plate of wings (the Wednesday special), and a kids meal and it all came to $105. Really generous portions, Philly cheesesteak burger was melt in your mouth, partner couldn’t get over the wings (think various expletives while eating), and the chips were sensational. The girls were lovely and we saw heaps of delivery drivers picking up so it must be a popular local place. So glad a last minute google led us here, would highly recommend

Having been to Caveman BBQ in Rockingham before and never had an issue, coming to the Port Kennedy store was a huge let down.. waited over 45 minutes for our orders to then both come out dry and stale in particular the buns and chicken. The store was a disaster with most tables full of rubbish/food and staff understaffed. The only positive were the fries. I’m aware it was peak trade but when you’re paying $35+ for a meal you expect better service and quality of food..
