If you’re tired of the over-the-top “sparkler” energy of typical Miami spots and actually want a world-class steak in a stunning setting, CAVE 305 is the answer. It’s an underground sanctuary that takes its meat very seriously.
* The Steaks: This is a true steakhouse at heart. The cuts are premium and aged to perfection. I had the Ribeye—perfectly charred on the outside, butter-tender on the inside. You can tell they respect the ingredients.
* The Vibe: The “cave” aesthetic is incredible. It’s dark, sexy, and intimate. It’s the perfect spot for a high-stakes business dinner or a date night where you actually want to hear each other talk.
* The Sides & Drinks: Don’t sleep on the sides—the truffle mac and the charred greens are elite. The cocktail program is also top-tier, featuring sophisticated pours that pair beautifully with heavy cuts of meat.
* Service: 10/10. The staff knows the menu inside and out and can guide you through the wine list like pros.
Recommendation: Definitely try the Wagyu New York Strip (12 Oz) and don’t skip the signature cocktails to start.
It’s rare to find a place in Miami that balances “cool factor” with genuine culinary skill, but CAVE 305 nails it.
Food & Service
• The swordfish with rice was fantastic.
• The grilled octopus was underwhelming.
• The bone marrow would have been better without the pesto.
• The chocolate cake was a nice finish.
• The Ruffino red Italian wine paired very well with the meal.
The owner is very attentive and genuinely cares about his guests, making sure everything is right.
Overall: A stylish and enjoyable spot to dine in South Beach, Miami.
Arrived at 4p for a late lunch. Ordered the shrimp pasta, very beautiful yummy fresh large shrimp, freshly hot pasta. All the flavors were blended so well to perfection. I ate it all! Large portion. The service was great from the hostess greeting and seating us to our waitress and her knowledge of the place and menu. She recommended many options and I choose a good one because of her, Thank youu! I was there around 4p Friday December 12th continuing my 34th birthday celebration I had the pleasure to try their Paloma drink and it was the perfect pair for my pasta. I truly enjoyed my food and my time here!
My bestie eats small so she had just fries, and a glass of Presseco sparkling wine. she did enjoy the Spinach Artichoke cheese Dip with pita bread me!
Thank you for the hospitality and overall great customer service! Your restaurant is beautiful! I will be back to visit when I’m in Miami with my husband next time. I live in Atlanta!
Happy Holidays
They really go all out think the candles with sparklers and the whole dessert presentation that makes the moment feel special. And on top of all that, the food was good, too.
Definitely a fun, elevated night out and I’d come back for the atmosphere alone.
Speaking of lunch menu, they had a medium sized lunch of appetizers priced between $14 and $18. I ordered the fried calamari and shrimp platter. It came out hot and fresh and properly cooked.
My server, Otto, was excellent. His service was prompt, professional, and worthy of a repeat visit
Given the cost of lunch and the quality of food, this ranks as a great choice for a lunch on a sunny day.
