The ambiance was just fine — nothing special. Unfortunately, the service was very slow; it took almost an hour just to get our appetizer. Overall, not the best experience, and definitely room for improvement in service speed and attentiveness.
We were there on a Saturday night when major UFC fight was on… so the place was really busy and packed. Hookah is the main draw but food must absolutely not be ignored. All the food we ordered was top notch and had authentic taste. Samosas had a small side of chickpeas plus the usual chatni… and the combination was really good. Dynamite chicked… we could not get enough of. Shawarma platter was awesome. Spicy hummus was really really good. I wish they had pita break but Nan was the second best choice. Chiken dumm biryani… yummy…. yummy. We ate a lot because it was all really good. Nothing left for take home either.
Music had great Punjabi vibe and plenty of big screens to enjoy the desi Rap music.
The place is small so make sure to get your reservations in and come early.
Hookah is the main draw here so come prepared for the atmosphere to match. Many flavors to choose from and frequent refresh were an added bonus. No alcohol although BYOB is allowed. The virgin Mojito was really good too.
Pass on the desert and get extra helping of samosas instead.
Come early and stay late. Bon appetite.
We had a great time here! The atmosphere was beautiful, the drinks were refreshing and creative, and the food was absolutely delicious — the chicken shawarma was flavorful and cooked perfectly. Our server was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed.
The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because of how the bill was handled. We weren’t given a receipt upfront, so we paid without realizing an 18% gratuity had already been added. When we later asked for the receipt, we saw the automatic service charge — something we would’ve liked to know beforehand. While our server was wonderful, the hookah service itself wasn’t great, and we would have preferred to decide our tip amount based on the overall experience.
Overall, a really enjoyable evening, but I’d recommend the restaurant be more transparent about the automatic gratuity so guests aren’t caught off guard.
As confirmed by the staff, it is also Zabiha Halal restaurant.
