This has become our go-to restaurant in Mount Pleasant. The food is great, atmosphere pleasant, and prices better than any fast food restaurant. The portions are always generous. My favorite is the angel hair pasta with meat sauce and meatballs.

If you’re traveling through the area and looking fur a place to stop, this is the restaurant for you.

What a great place. The value for the food you get is fantastic! Everything on the menu is great and the soup and salad bar is amazing. Our kids were able to get a pizza they loved and even went back to the salad bar for seconds. It was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

This Pizza is Amazing!! We got pepperoni and meat lovers. Both were very very delicious. The cheese was cartoonishly good, it stretched and was so yummy! 10/10 will be coming again. I also loved their hours. We ended up going there because the other pizza place we were going to go to was closed already, and boy am I glad we did!

My wife and I stopped by for lunch. We each ordered the lunch special which was an 8″ pizza and side salad. Baylee, our server, was so pleasant and friendly. The pizza was some of the best we have had. Very good flavor and quality ingredients. The side salad was excellent as well. Extremely good value. Restaurant was very clean. Highly recommend.

Service is terrible. Not sure if there is a manager or how they operate, but if more than three customers are there, things fall to chaos. They remove the phone so they don’t receive to many calls then if you happen to get through, they aren’t afraid to leave you on hold until you hang up.

The prices are exorbitant. Even for a mom and pop joint. Their extended menu is ok, but the pizza nearly falls through box for the grease soaking through.

I grew up loving cavalier, I remember family meal deals that cost only $30 large pizza, cheese sticks and a 2 liter soda. AND DELIVERED. Now you never get the correct order, prices are outrageous and the pick and choose when they deliver. Better driving to Ephraim for Roy’s pizza.

We keep trying this place. NEVER trust how long they tell you it’ll take for pickup. No matter what we order, it has never been ready. Every time it has taken 20-30 minutes longer than the already 35 minutes after ordering.
We have tried it 7 times. No more chances. There are just as good if not better pizza that doesn’t take 65-70 minutes.

UPDATE from a year ago: Still has great prices and the food looked beautiful! However and unfortunately, our experience this time was less than desirable. We ordered a simple cheese bread and wings (.50/wing – great Friday special). First, it took us 45 minutes to receive our order. The wings are precooked (I’ll tell you how we know this in a minute), and the breed was pizza style, so the order shouldn’t have taken more than about 10 or 15 minutes to cook. I wanted to remove a star for that, but it was a busy Friday night and a one-time occurrence so far, so decided to cut them some slack.
Then, when it finally arrived, the bread was fantastic (as usual), but one bite into our wings and it was obvious something was wrong – they were stone cold in the middle! Not luke-cold like they stayed out after being cooked waiting for the bread… Like refrigerator cold and not warmed all the way through. Thank goodness they weren’t raw in the middle, or that would have been worse. This is how we know they’re precooked -thankful for that. Reluctantly, one star removed. Next, when we alerted the teenage staff about it (no adult or manager in site), they apologized, and that they’d cook more for us. We didn’t want to wait again, so we ordered them to go. 5 minutes later, they gave them to us, piping hot…hmmm. took 5 while minutes, not 45. Ok, we were happy we are least didn’t have to wait the second time. So we got ready to pay at the register, and then then the cashier actually charged us the regular price instead of the weekly special for the wings! If I hadn’t have noticed the cash register ring it up and corrected her, we would have been charged full price for a meal that was cold and old. I’m not inclined to blame the young staff about this, because was annoyed and concerned that there was no adult staff present to help. This incident seemed to be a training error on how to 1) properly cook the food, and 2) how to properly handle the problems that arose with the customers. Another star gone for that, which I don’t apologize for at all. We’ll probably try this place again, because we like to support local establishments, but this was a big strike against them for us.

Past post (a year ago): Weekly special of their delicious 3-topping calzone and a side salad for under $7?! Wow! It really was enough food for two meals, but I had to eat the whole thing… For some reason I just couldn’t stop! Wish I had a photo to share, but I was relieving my hunger at the time and didn’t think about it. Really great pizza here too, we’ve come here quite often. Honestly, I think it’s the best place to eat in Mount Pleasant. Place is clean, even the bathrooms, and staff is really friendly too, which is a plus.

Cavalier is a nice, clean pizza place. The calzones are quite good, as are the breadsticks. The pizza is ok, but not great. It’s a bready pizza, with light sauce and a good amount of cheese. The people there were friendly and attentive.
