This place was easy to find because it was on the main road. The waitresses kept checking on us, which was great! Our food took a little bit to come, but everyone liked their food. So, no complaints. Well worth the wait!

Don’t stop. Please. Do your stomach and taste buds a favor. The steak was over cooked and had no seasoning, as well as the pasta. There was no flavoring whatsoever. The only appealing thing here is the appetizers, and even they were subpar. DO. NOT. STOP. HERE. It’s not worth vomiting over. Do the pictures look good? Yes. Does the food taste good? Absolutely not.

This place is great. Martha and I went there for dinner with our youngest son Jack (11). Martha had the 16oz ribeye. I had the oyster platter (fried). Jack had the pepperoni pizza from the kid’s menu. Everything was great. Martha’s steak was perfectly medium as she ordered. My fried oysters were just great. Fried oysters is just one of those dishes that is very difficult to get perfect, but they did it and did it fast. Portions were generous, as I barely finished half of my oysters. Jack ate all of his pizza and some of my fries. Martha’s steak put up an epic battle, but in the end, it was Martha declaring victory. There is a closed off bar inside. It kinda makes it seem like it’s two places in one. I had a margarita. It was so good that I had to try a second one to see if they just got lucky making the first. We’ve only lived in Waycross since July of 2019, so we are trying these places for the first time. Everything has been impressive so far. I’m kinda blown away by the amount of pride everyone puts into their businesses here. If you’re in the mood for steak and seafood, this is a great place to try. We will definitely be going back, so stay tuned for more updates! Two thumbs way up!! Great job guys!

So, I’m on a mission to keep this place alive! I am not from Waycross, GA and I do not know the owners. I just found Cavagnaros, about three weeks ago when I started working for Koch Trucking and delivering boats for Carolina Skiff! I met the wait staff today, when I ate here, though. If you are from Waycross, GA, please don’t let this place die! The food is so good! The place was dead while I was there but this restaurant has so much potential! The owner just died and they’re in a phase of figuring things out right now!
They have space for live music (I heard it from the truck stop the other week and that’s what drove me to Google the reviews for this place. The reviews were good, so I decided to go check them out and I’m so happy that I did! Everything was absolutely delicious! I got the Fried Platter for One! It’s gigantic and everything was fried perfectly (y’all need to keep that cook or whoever is on the fry table!!!!!!!!). I also got a cheese pizza to go and let me just tell you, that’s my kinda pizza! The crust could’ve been a little crispier for me, but the cheese and the sauce remind me of my favorite pizza from home! The waitstaff were so nice! The absolute only derogatory comment I will say here, is that they TRULY, 100% need to renovate the bathrooms. Bathrooms are an important first impression and a huge statement that attests to how people perceive the cleanliness of a restaurant! Renovate the bathrooms, get some big TVs for game nights, and do live music more often! Serious potential here, especially since there are TWO truck stops on the corners across from you! Do a truckers special! Advertise something that truckers would love and you’ll have booming business, (10% discount with proof of CDL, half price domestic beers with proof of CDl…anything! Something!) You have tons of people right outside your door, whom you can cater to! It’s so hard for truckers to find REAL RESTAURANTS and especially within walking distance of a truck stop! You have the food! You have the great waitstaff and cooks! You have a clientele that’s literally 300ft away! Don’t let that go to waste!! OH…and get ART LEAST ONE IPA BEER!! They sell it right across the street at the Circle K! Grab a few Ava see how they sell! Not all truckers drink watered down beer

We stopped here just on a whim on the way to Valdosta and liked it so much that we came back the next day on the way home! The food was pretty good. My husband got the fettuccine Alfredo with blackened chicken both times and it was great! I got the smothered chicken the first day and chicken parmesan the next day. The chicken parmesan’s chicken was a little dry, but still good. Lots of cheese on both dishes. Their menu says they have dessert, but they do not anymore. Mozzarella cheese sticks were good, but not really melty like you’d expect from one. I also loved their fried mushrooms.
The bathroom was decent, but the toilet seat looked like it had seen better days and was falling off as well. Overall, a nice little restaurant with nice staff.

Let me just say we had a fabulous meal at Cavagnaos. I got a Stromboli and can I just say that it was outta sight!!! I have given myself the label of pizza c onnoisseur. Their crust is amazing and the Stromboli mist have weighted 7#. My husband had the 16oz Ribeye. It was delightful. They should take pizza dough and make garlic bread. Yum. The waitress was awesome as well.

Best stuffed crabs I’ve found since my childhood in South Carolina. All around friendly family environment. Never had a line wait time to be sat or for food. Best sweet tea I’ve ever had and my boyfriend loves the blackened chicken! Portions are very large. You get more than what you pay for I believe

My steak was rancid on my salad. Awful. Other guests’ food tasted fine. 3 people didn’t get their order and we eventually told them to just put it in a to go box. We did have a party of 21 but only about 4 other tables in the restaurant had people sitting at them. Waitress was nice but couldn’t keep up with what everyone ordered despite writing the orders all down correctly.
