I’ve been going to this Cava here and there since it opened. The food was great at first, but things have incrementally decreased from there. They have been pulling back with their serving sizes, and the black lentils are consistently hard as a rock- wayyy more often than not. They used to drown them in dressing. My tipping point came tonight when my partners bowl came literally halfway full. I know they’re normally not as full as when you watch the employees make them, but this was just pitiful considering how this same bowl normally comes. Very disappointed in how quickly the quality of this place nosedived

I’ve been going to CAVA all over the East Coast and used to love it. The locations in Virginia were consistently great, which is why I was excited when one opened here. Unfortunately, the Palm Harbor location has been a huge disappointment.
The food quality is terrible. On my most recent visit, chicken wasn’t available, so I ordered the steak. I’m someone who loves steak, but whatever meat I was served did not taste like steak at all. It had a very strange, unpleasant flavor, and shortly after eating it, my stomach started turning. Every time I eat at this location, I end up with stomach issues, which is concerning.
Beyond the food itself, there are consistent operational problems. Ingredients are often missing from to-go orders, and the restaurant does not feel clean. I’ve been inside when trash was overflowing, which doesn’t inspire confidence in food handling. On a previous visit, one of the dressings tasted sour, which made me question freshness.
I used to genuinely enjoy this chain, but the quality at this location has gone dramatically downhill. It feels like cheaper ingredients are being used, and the overall experience is no longer worth it.
If you’ve never eaten at CAVA before, this Palm Harbor location is not a good representation of what the brand used to be.

Micala and Jen are the best. They ran the line on a busy night with a smile on their face and made every customer smile. Our Food was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be back!! The whole staff tonight night needs a raise!!

I brought it back to the store for a new bag and when I explained the situation the employee did not say a word, not even a sorry, and handed me a new bag.

Our twenty-year-old son has been raving about CAVA for a while now, so we finally went. The food here was super tasty, healthy – and we got a lot. You get to make all the choices to make the perfect dish. Service was efficient and excellent. Tyler and crew took the time to explain everything and answered all our questions – being this was our first time. The atmosphere here is upbeat and welcoming. Check CAVA out if you’re looking for something new and exciting.

I loveee cava. Food is always good at this location! Most of the servers are super nice and welcoming! My issue is with the mobile order. I feel like it lacks compared to when I order in the line. Especially with servings sizes. I get way less toppings I have to ask for double on the app, the dressings are filled half way and over all not as pleased as to when I come in.

Victoria and the staff were absolutely pleasant! I came with my fiancé for a quick lunch date early in the day they came to check on us while eating! Rare occasion for most establishments but we felt comfortable and the icing on the cake all good and toppings were fresh! Highly recommend this location for their staff and quality of food! Was so good we both grabbed a second bowl for lunch the following day!

Mikayla and Tori are what makes going to Cava awesome! They always greet me with a smile on their face and make sure I’m being serve immediately. The food is always great and the portions they serve are perfect! I always a notice a very tidy and put together kitchen and work space.
