By far the worst falafel from Florida to Michigan! I ordered 2 falafel bowls, a kids meal with falafel and 2 drinks…all for under $40!

The service was good, but 2 ladies who I asked about the kid’s menu admitted that they didn’t know what was on the menu! SMH. Then I was told that I had to pay extra for spring mix because it’s not included with the kids meal…only a selection of 3 particular items/sides are included with a protein…although the store menu states that it’s “A mini version of our build-your-own…” So a regular bowl was suggested instead. (The cashier later fixed this issue). My youngest only wanted the rice, spring mix (power greens) and falafel…which was inedible! The number of items/sides and the exact items/sides included or available with the kids meal should be stated on the menu, all staff should be aware of what they are.

The falafel was mushy and undercooked…imagine a wet/raw dough feel in your mouth…which was most likely from the chickpeas being over processed to a paste instead of a more coarse texture. Plus, the flavor wasn’t palatable.

The rice and lentils were good and perfectly cooked…the roasted veggies had a good flavor, but they were overcooked. Love the hummus (especially knowing that it’s made with olive oil, not canola or seed oils), tzatziki and lemon-herb tahini. The blueberry lavender drink was refreshing, not sweet.

Due to the falafel being horrendous…and the only protein on the menu that most of my family eats…this was my first and last visit to CAVA.

Let me start by saying the food here is AMAZING. I fell in love with CAVA the very first time I tried it, and honestly, they’ve become my go-to over any of their competitors. I come to this location whenever I’m in the area, even though I live about 20–25 minutes away it’s that worth it. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistent.

This spot is almost always busy, and there’s usually a line, which says a lot. The only downside is that the staff isn’t always the friendliest. Maybe it’s because they’re constantly slammed and don’t get much downtime, but it’s definitely noticeable.

Overall, I love CAVA. I just really wish they’d open another location closer to Margate, Coconut Creek, or Coral Springs so people in those areas (including me!) have another convenient option without the extra drive.

This owner of this location should heavily review operation especially in the evening hours. This franchise would have way more revenue coming in if they did not have the people they have running this place not during business hours. This cava always have the line up out the door and it’s not for a good reason. It because there is too much talking and not enough working going on. Everyone is visibly upset and while this is the best choice of food in this area .. the wait manages to have a lot of customers heading out the door. Not to mention the staff refuses to make more food and tell customers they ran out, out of pure laziness. There’s only 1 person working the front of the line. Causing a significant delay in service. It’s horrible. Hire new people. A word of advise to management:?Please come in after hours just as a pop to see exactly the unprofessionalism of this location. And how your establishment is being ran. And I will come back here in the day a specifically speak with management. If i do not see a change I will patiently wait in line and keep writing reviews along with pictures until it’s fixed. Do something about this!! It’s getting out of hand. People love the brand but we are starting to grow a string hate for this location. If you come to this location you will wait a half n hour minimum for take out. After 5pm this place goes to the dogs.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at CAVA. I paid nearly $40 for a bowl and received what looks like scraps at the bottom of the container. The portion size was completely unacceptable for the price. The bowl was barely filled, it was no lettuce and rice, and the protein and toppings were minimal at best.

The photos speak for themselves this does not reflect the quality or value CAVA promotes. When customers are paying premium prices, we expect premium portions and consistency. Instead, I felt shorted and honestly taken advantage of.

For $40, I should not be staring at the bottom of my bowl after a few bites. Very disappointing experience and not worth the money.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Salad lovers, this one’s elite.

As a Level 7 Google Reviewer with past reviews reaching 70,000+ views, I don’t post lightly—and this bowl earned it.

I ordered the spicy honey chicken on a Splenda salad base with mixed roasted veggies, and it delivered on every level. The chicken strikes that rare balance of sweet heat that’s flavorful, juicy, and intentional—not overpowering, just right.

The date vinaigrette deserves real recognition. It’s smooth, lightly sweet, and grounding, pulling the entire bowl together with depth and balance. Nothing feels accidental here.

And do not skip the cinnamon sugar pita bread with honey. Warm, soft with a light crisp, and perfectly drizzled—it’s the ideal finish. Sweet, comforting, and the kind of add-on that turns a good meal into a memorable one.

What continues to stand out about CAVA is consistency. The food feels fresh, elevated, and thoughtfully composed. This isn’t a “healthy compromise”—it’s bold, satisfying, and crave-worthy.

If you’re deciding whether to try the spicy honey chicken with date vinaigrette and cinnamon sugar pita—this is your sign.

Con: A NON-SERVICE Dog was allowed in the dining area. When I reached out to management, the phone rang, rang, rang.

I ordered two bowls on 12/15/25 and was contacted by the DoorDash driver upon arrival because CAVA was out of lamb meatballs. I requested chicken shawarma as a substitution. When the order arrived, one bowl had only one lamb meatball and wasn’t filled to the top, and the second bowl had the wrong protein entirely. This follows a previous DoorDash order from this same location where my bowl was missing the protein altogether.
Because this was the second issue, I drove 20 minutes to the restaurant to have it resolved. I asked to speak with the manager, Bailey, and explained the situation. Unfortunately, he showed no empathy, did not apologize, and immediately told me to go to CAVA’s website for a refund. After leaving the comfort of my home to address the issue in person, I was offered no immediate solution.
When I told Bailey that my order needed to be remade, he instructed me to wait in line to have it corrected. The lack of accountability and customer care was shocking. This was abysmal customer service and a poor representation of the CAVA brand.
I expect much better quality control and customer service, especially when mistakes are repeated.

So good… when they get it right.

I’m giving this location three stars because the food itself is genuinely very good, but the execution is inconsistent.

I always order online and get the same bowl. When it’s made correctly and filled properly, it’s absolutely worth the price. The flavors are great, and Cava has some of the best drinks.

The issue is consistency. I would say about 80% of the time, something is wrong with my order. Either ingredients are missing, something extra is added that I didn’t request, or the portion size is noticeably smaller. I’ve also had my side pita missing twice. Some days the bowl is full, other days it feels barely filled, which makes it feel overpriced.

Since this location is new to South Florida and always seems fully staffed, it doesn’t appear to be a staffing shortage issue. It feels more like a training or management issue with online orders. Most of the time, online orders are kept behind the counter instead of on the pickup shelves (which is fine), but there isn’t always someone available to quickly assist, so you end up waiting.

The restaurant is always packed (understandably, since it’s currently the only Broward location), but there are usually outdoor seating options available.

I keep coming back because the food is genuinely good, I just wish the accuracy and portion sizes were more consistent.

First time at CAVA and I really enjoyed it! The food was fresh, flavorful, and made exactly how I wanted. Portions were generous and everything tasted great. I’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu

I got there at 9 they had no steak, none of their popular dressings, and no corn, no bag (but they had bags for takeout) I had two bowls to go.The sweet potatoes were charcoal black. Customer service was terrible they just wanted to get out of there if it was closer to closing time I would understand but they started too early. The line was also very dirty. Whenever we asked for anything they didn’t have they weren’t even apologetic
