I absolutely love Greek/Mediterranean food, and had been very excited to try this place. For my first visit, I went with the “build your own bowl” option, and it was amazing. I got the saffron Jasmine rice, with spicy lamb meatballs & sweet potatoes (half & half for the main protein), plus lots of veggies, dips, and sauces. Everything was so good, and I loved it so much I’d get the exact same things again. There was one particular staff member (manager I’m assuming) who was very nice and helpful and made sure we got all the dips & sauces and everything we wanted to try. Oh yeah, we also shared some of the pita chips with crazy feta dip, and that was super good too. I got the cucumber mint lime juice, and it was very good, a nice compliment to my somewhat-spicy bowl. I had 1 refill in-store, and 1 more refill to-go, and I rarely finish a drink like that while still eating. Will definitely add this place to my list of favorites!
*UPDATE* Two years later, and Cava has remained a favorite spot in town, not only for myself, but my mom, sister and I have shared many lunches together here. It’s absolutely one of our go-to spots, and even use it as currency sometimes (i.e. – I’ll say to my sister, “Yeah, I’ll help with X-Y-Z, but you owe me a Cava bowl!) Never ever had a bad meal. Love everything about this place!

I’m obsessed with this place. Eating food that is fresh and healthy just hits different. It has a great atmosphere inside and a lovely patio outside. It is a popular spot so give yourself some time during lunch time to find parking in the plaza. They are super speedy with pick-up orders if you need to get back to office as an alternative for your lunch plans.

Shoutout to John and Sophia at Cava on Thomasville Road in Tallahassee! They were both so professional, patient, and genuinely kind. They took their time helping me, answered my questions, and made me feel really comfortable and taken care of. On top of that, the food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and made exactly how I wanted. This location has great service and a great team.

So good! My first experience at a Cava was at the Tennessee St location here in Tallahassee and it was so bad, I swore I’d never go back. My daughter convinced me to try the Thomasville Rd location yesterday saying that it was totally different and she was right- the difference was night and day! I came back again today, it was so good! The food is amazing! They seem to always be really busy, but that doesn’t stop them from being super friendly- the staff are kind, courteous and upbeat. It’s fast, delicious and they keep the place clean.

The customer service here is absolutely amazing. I came in maybe 15min before close and Kadyn welcomed me with such a warm smile and was so sweet. She was very accommodating with all my extra add ons and was very patient even though it was so late. The food was great it was hot and Kadyn made sure to give me great portions. I love Cava and I frequently get food here especially when I’m studying late and this has been one of if not my best experience here! Thank you Kadyn
