I have been to this location a few times. The service is normally slow which is why I left three stars. I’m leaving this review because DeeDee ( unsure how to spell it I’m sorry!) was THE best, moved quickly, apologized for the wait, basically she seemed to be running the show. She needs a raise!! I give her 5 stars for service.

My friend and I went to this Mediterranean café for the first time last evening (a Wednesday), partly for the mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods, and partly because they close at 10 p.m. when all the restaurants around them close at 9. There is not exactly what you’d call an atmosphere because it is a very casual place. However, the serving staff were super friendly and super patient with us as we figured out the food options. You start at one end and then travel down the serving line, building your own bowl or pita sandwich. (They may also have set entrees, I don’t know.) You can choose your base from a great variety of greens and/or grains like brown or saffron rice and small, tasty black lentils. Then you choose veggies to add, then a protein, then other veggies functioning as salad toppings, and lastly some dressing. Many of the veggies & proteins are warm/hot, which I like. Each category has a lot of interesting options, many with Mediterranean origins. With each category, they let us combine a couple of choices. My meal was incredibly tasty but not at all spicy. My friend made a few of her choices aimed at increasing the spiciness of her meal. At my friend’s request, the manager came & took a photo of us with our lovely bowls!

Cava has good quality food and generous portions! I dined in with family and there was plenty of indoor seating available. The line was really slow and the lady who put my salad together could use some smiling lessons but the food was soooo tasty so I give it 5 stars.
