HARD PASS…Find another CAVA….

Last 2 trips to this store has been horrible!

The 1st time my chicken rice was so hard and old…I figured okay, maybe I ordered too late.

Went back today and was welcomed with a nasty attitude, very little food (for $16!), and the store itself was trash looking and dirty.

The cashier asked if I wanted a bag. I would think that would be a given. I say, “yes”. She sighs, rolls her eyes, and drops the bowl and side of dressing into the bag. I look in and the dressing was spilled in the bag and the bowl was upside down. I just walked out without even addressing the attitude or food issue because I feel better knowing I won’t support this store again vs arguing with someone who doesn’t even want you to be there because she doesn’t want to be there.

I definitely spent my last at this store…I’ll rather drive further out for better food and service.

I am not making this up. Take a look at the videos of the lentils. Hard as rocks!
I hope someone calls the Health Inspector on this place.
Uncooked lentils every single time!

My teeth are hurting after eating this. 1/3 of the bowl is bulked up with these lentils.
Hummus was missing, Cabbage slaw was missing. Toppings are so skimpy.
$14 for missing ingredients and uncooked food! What a rip off. Management is useless since they allow this to continue despite complaints.

Many people have mentioned undercooked food. How is this place allowed to function like this! How can employees not follow preset cooking instructions goes beyond me!

1st experience:
One staff member is extremely skimpy about portion sizes.
He charged me extra for lentils even though it was part of the bowl.

The falafels were extremely salty and chewy.
Their falafels are not crispy and gritty like they should be. They use whole chickpeas and flour to bind them. Zero flavor and too much salt. No herbs and seasoning in the falafel.

The lentils I got in the bowl were extremely dry and dehydrated.

Another staff member was kind enough to replace it after I mentioned was inedible.

He apologized for the other staff member who was supposed to replace the lentils with the fresh cooked batch before.

I will not be coming to this location again.

This was my first time ever going to CAVA! I was a little nervous so I ordered the kids meal and for about $7 I got a whole meal including the drink.. and I was thoroughly impressed! They give you so much food my friend had leftovers! They gave me rice, 3 pita crunchy yummy things and a pita full of chicken it was so good and refreshing to have something different that’s affordable I will definitely be returning very soon! And the surrounding shopping center is all very nice brick.

Upon my arrival, approximately between 6 and 7 o’clock, I experienced an expedited ordering process initiated by the manager. I observed what I perceived as an aggressive demeanor from the manager towards both staff members and myself. While I acknowledge the high volume of business at the time, I believe such conduct is not conducive to positive customer or employee relations. Conversely, the other two gentlemen on duty exhibited commendable professionalism and courtesy.

Our company came in on Sunday to celebrate and grab a bite to eat and the food was AMAZING! The staff who helped us were so polite and took the time to explain everything to us! We will definitely be coming back to this location!

I usually enjoy Cava, but this visit missed the mark for me. Two items in my bowl were difficult to eat. The lentils were very hard and seemed undercooked, and the steak was quite tough throughout, I was unable to eat one piece. The chicken, however, was good. The other flavors are so good. I hope this was just an off day, as I normally have a great experience here.

Food was almost perfect until there was confusion on my rice. Asian guy who was making it was nice about it and said I could get the sour cream and onion pita chips to make up for it . The black guy with the headwrap stormed to the front from the kitchen with the most terrible attitude I’d ever seen. He was not okay with the free pita chips option so he aggressively started making me a new bowl. I said it was fine and it wasn’t necessary. He rudely asked “do you want the basmati rice or not?” At that point I told him he was extremely rude and I just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. To throw a tantrum and nearly throw away a whole bowl just because I ASKED if I could have some $2 pita chips. I just went off my original order with the wrong rice and honestly I’m not going back. He needs to be coached on customer service. That was the worst experience

We came to this cava for a Sunday lunch and noticed the store was extremely empty, when we walked to the counter we were not greeted, when we FINALLY got the attention of the employee behind the counter and asked about their new bowl, the worker did not even make eye contact with me seemed annoyed at the question and told me to read the menu, he mumbled when he spoke and was very rude, you could imagine my shock when I found out he was a manager, yikes ben!
I spoke to another employee and “Ben” was speaking for him. This was not what I have come to expect from a Cava experience. It was so bad we decided to cancel our orders and take our business elsewhere. Even before we decided to leave Ben arrogantly turned to throw out the bowl he didn’t even finish making! This cava lacks customer service and was disappointing!
Ben must have been having a bad day, but that’s not something to take out on the customers. especially as a manager!
