I’m honestly very upset about my experience here.☹️
My friend placed an online pickup order for me, and when I arrived, the order was ready—but that’s about the only thing that went right. I’ve eaten CAVA many times and always enjoyed it, which is why this visit was so frustrating and disappointing.
I asked for DOUBLE pita chips with my veggie falafel bowl. What I got did not look fresh at all. The chips were overly burned, tasted old, and had a bad oily smell. This is not what CAVA is supposed to be.
On top of that, the pickled onions I ordered were missing, and there was no tzatziki added at all. None of the toppings I specifically requested were included.
I also ordered half sweet potatoes and half falafel. Instead, I received only one falafel, and the sweet potatoes were undercooked, hard, and clearly not prepared properly. If I order half and half, I expect half and half—not whatever was thrown in the bowl.
I requested extra Greek Skhug and extra garlic dressing. The containers I received were tiny and only half filled. When I politely asked for another one, I was told no. Other locations have never made an issue about this, so why is this place cutting corners?
This is not rocket science. ♀️If a customer pays for something, they should receive it—fresh, properly cooked, and in the correct portion. I paid full price, not half price, so why am I getting half portions and poor quality? ♀️

I have photos of the food and receipt to document everything.
I’m not writing this just to complain—I’m writing this because the quality and service at this location need serious attention. Customers should not feel like standards are being compromised.
This is not just about one bad meal—it’s about customer experience. Your employees need better training to ensure:
• Orders are prepared correctly and fully (double portions actually delivered).
• Ingredients are fresh and properly cooked.
• Extra sauces and sides are provided as requested, not denied.
• Staff pays attention to customer instructions, even for simple things.
If you don’t fix these basic things, your business will lose loyal customers like me. I’m giving this feedback seriously because I want to see CAVA maintain the quality I’ve loved in the past.
As a goodwill gesture, offering reward points or some form of compensation for customers who get bad service goes a long way—it encourages us to come back and shows you care about improving.
Very disappointed. I would rate this experience 1.5 out of 5.
I came for a 7pm pickup and received my food at 7:30. Meanwhile, anyone who just walked in is getting their food immediately.
Went to fill my drink and both choices I paid for online were empty. See pic for reference. After confirming with the cashier that everything was correct, I arrived home to find that my order had been botched.
Easy parking, fast line and fast service. Fresh food! The grilled chicken bowl is awesome!
