I’ve visited this CAVA many times and usually have a great experience. I don’t often order to-go, but this time was very disappointing. When I got home and opened my bag, the bowl was barely half full, the avocado was brown, and the whole dish was soggy—as if the greens were wet before being packed. I hope this location isn’t slipping into the trend of smaller portions and lower quality for takeout orders.

I had the worst experience here tonight. I ordered pickup & waited 22 minutes past my given time. I only got my food eventually because I said something to the staff after being ignored two times. I got home and my bowl was missing an ingredient, extremely tiny, and the rice was crunchy and old. An absolute excuse for a restaurant. Do better.

Today I paid $15 for tiny portions at Cava. I haven’t had it in a while and was looking forward to a delicious treat. Instead, the staff member just plopped very small portions of what I asked for into this bowl. I even went in early 10:40am. So it wasn’t like they were getting ready to close. However, for the little that I didn’t receive it was quite good.

This is my favorite CAVA location ever, like I’m utterly obsessed. From the workers, to the freshness of the food and the cleanliness of the restaurant, everything is a 10/10. I stopped eating Cava back in 2018 and I just so happened to try it again as this location is very close to me. Prior to my arrival, I had no expectations. I didn’t know what to expect, but I’m so happy I wasn’t disappointed. Alex, the general manager is who swayed my overall opinion and I have been hyper-fixating since. I found myself completely indecisive my first time back as it’s been years since I’ve last had it and I was overwhelmed with what to get. To solve this? Alex gave my boyfriend and I two proteins to try, the harissa chicken and the spicy lamb meatballs. Once this hit our taste palate, oh baby it was a wrap. On top of that, I asked for my pita chips fresh without any salt or pepper, and my request was granted immediately with no attitude or hesitation. Safe to say, my boyfriend and I have ate here so many times since then!! We were eating at a local competitor (Roots) and I promise, Cava has a plethora more of options when it comes to toppings and proteins. I mean the freshness and the taste of the food and quality is absolutely unmatched. Alex was a huge help, Audrey & another lady that has a bald cut in the front, they are all amazing! Alex and his staff are doing a damn good job at ensuring consistent, great quality food, and customer service. I swear if it wasn’t for Alex, I don’t think I would’ve opened up my eyes and realized how amazing this place is, especially with all of the new items they’ve incorporated over the years. I can say, the quality and taste has gotten even better over the years. I will actually be coming again today, lol and I will be using the CAVA app that Alex informed me about. The point system is surprisingly good! All of these new changes, is what brought me back forever. Please do not change anything about this location and again, thank you Alex and the staff!!

My friend and I recently ordered Cava for delivery through doordash, we spent over $50 for just 2 people, with it being around $25 each. We have previously dined from this restaurant and have had no issue. However, this time around we experienced significant issues. For one, the restaurant took over 45 mins to complete our order, we even had 2 drivers drop our order because the restaurant was taking so long which is unusual, however we finally received the notification that our order was ready and heading our way. The drivers were nothing but nice and delivered our food within 13 minutes. However, imagine our surprise when we look inside the bag and there is only one bowl. We had each ordered a bowl, 2 free side pitas, pita chips (which are an additional $4) and a drink which is around $5. We received an incomplete order and only got one bowl, one free pita, and the beverage. At this point we are just astonished, surely it can’t get any worse than this. And then, it does. We head inside, open the bag and I open the side pita, cold and ripped in half, to the point of almost looking bitten. Then my friend opens her bowl, and wouldn’t you know it but it’s made wrong. It has both missing and incorrect toppings. At this point, neither of us are happy or even hungry. We waited an hour for our food (from a restaurant that is 2 miles away), then essentially received a different order altogether. We are broke college students studying for finals and we decided to splurge and spoil ourselves, ultimately left hungry, disappointed and sad. We ordered an hour and a half before the restaurant closed, giving Cava plenty of time to make our order but they just played in our face. Extremely disappointed, if I could give negative stars, I would. I don’t know what happened but this experience has left me extremely scarred and we will not be ordering from this Cava ever again.
*edit* It has been about an hour since my friend ate her bowl and she just ended up throwing the entire thing up in the bathroom. Do not order from this place. Waste of time, money and a health hazard.

New to CAVA & this location has been a wonderful place to start. Kind, gorgeous staff and delicious food. The GM Alex also showed the greatest patience I’ve ever laid my own two eyes on dealing with a difficult customer while I was dining in. 10/10 staff & potentially the best, most affordable, healthy spot to eat in Richmond.

Cava never disappoints, I tried the Harrisa avocado bowl for the first time and it was delicious! I met a wonderful worker Alex who recommended me the bowl and it was a great pick! I’ll definitely be coming back.

First time trying CAVA and I’m officially obsessed! I built my own bowl and everything from the grains to the toppings was fresh, flavorful, and seasoned just right. The pita chips? Worth every single penny. Crunchy, light, and dangerously addictive. I grabbed the lemonade and mixed in some blueberry lavender… chef’s kiss Refreshing and different in the best way.
I even tried the sweet pita chips. They were good, but personally I prefer them without the honey dip.
I’ve been a Mezeh girly for years, but after this visit… I might be switching teams . Glad I finally gave CAVA a shot. They understood the assignment!

I’ve been a CAVA lover for almost 2 years now, and when I tell you that this is the greatest CAVA I’ve ever been to, I mean it. With grocery prices at an all time high, I’ve been eating the $7 CAVA kids meal for my lunch. As a 6’4 220 pound pure muscle king, it fills me all the way up! I’ve gotten it 16 times in November alone!
Also, shout out to the GM Alex! He was extremely nice and respectful when dealing with an irate customer. Hope to get to know the team well as I keep coming back!
