Five stars. I had such a great experience at the CAVA in Danbury, and it was entirely because of the manager, I believe his name is Josean. From the moment I walked in, he was warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about the customer experience. He took the time to check in, made sure everything was right with my order, and created a really positive energy throughout the restaurant. You can tell he leads by example because the entire staff was friendly, efficient, and upbeat. It is rare to see management this hands on and personable. This location is clearly well run, and I will absolutely be coming back because of the experience he created.

My husband and I always have a great experience at this location. Everyone is always so nice and helpful and they give out very good portions for how much we are paying for the bowls. It is always very clean when we come and the food is delicious. Josean has helped us numerous times and he always takes his time making our food and builds our bowl great. He never is rushing or making it sloppy.

I’ve ordered salads from CAVA a few times now and they never disappoint. The ingredients are always fresh, the flavors are amazing, and everything tastes amazing. After hearing great things about Cava we were excited to give it a try. Placed an online order for 2 bowls and 1 pita wrap. Got home and realized our entire order was wrong. The pita was ice cold inside and had the wrong toppings. Dressing was suppose to be on the side for the bowls but was inside as well, also missing some of the listed things inside. Thankfully we live down the road so I had my husband take it back. There wasn’t any apology on the food being incorrect, they remade the wrap and it was ok at least it was warm and correct. I personally don’t think we will go back.

Visited during the dinner rush (around 6pm) there was a pretty large line that didn’t look like it was moving. When it got to my turn the only meat left was chicken with multiple guests’ bowls half assembled because they were waiting for other meats. My bowl then joined the line because I had to wait for the rice to be ready.
A lot of young employees that looked like they’d rather be anywhere else, not much haste in their pace at all.
What looked like a manager thankfully came out and got everyone’s order somewhat complete as the missing components made their way out.
The food was good, just wish it would’ve have been a seamless visit.
