I’m honestly so disappointed with my experience at CAVA today. Each of us paid around $17–$18 for our bowls, and the portions were half empty. For that price, we expected a full, satisfying meal. Instead, we were left hungry and frustrated. The ingredients themselves were fine, but the amount of food was unacceptable for what we paid. The photos speak for themselves. It’s disappointing to see portions shrink this much. Definitely not worth the cost unless they start serving full bowls. Greenwich and Westport would NEVER pull this

First time trying cava, was super excited for this experience, however, was a little letdown as the end result. I wanna start by saying the staff were super friendly and all the ingredients looked fresh and the atmosphere was nice however, the pita wrapping individual needs to step up their game. I got home and my entire pita filling, was at the bottom of the bag due to it, not being wrapped right and then him shoving it into the bag. So the pictures reflect my $16 chicken Shawarma on a pita when I got home.

Food is good but portions are very small here compared to other locations, such as the ones in Westport and DC. For reference, you get about half as much food as Chipotle but for the same price. If you want pita chips and a drink with it, it will cost well over $20 and leave you still hungry afterwards. I included a photo of my bowl right after purchasing so you can see how little food it is.

I ordered the Falafel Crunch bowl and received two pieces of falafel in the bowl. You cannot lead with Falafel when it is the smallest ingredient by portion. Horrible.
My wife ordered the spicy lamb sweet potato bowl, they were out of sweet potato, and they gave her harisa chicken. What part of spicy lamb means harisa chicken?
Not sure what’s going on here, but I would advise you stay far away.

Went into cava last night with a friend who had never been there and loved it! The food was delicious and Deli was SO helpful. He was patient with my friend who had never been there before (despite a long line) and was really pleasant. Will be returning and thank you Deli for all your help!

This place is nice and spacious. The staff seem like they act pleasant. Some staff maybe a bit crabby but hey that’s human nature. The portions here are always fresh and we won’t go to Westport location again after they put spinach, and tomato onions, in our bowl which was clearly turned. Shelton is always so fresh.
