Beautiful ambience. Service absolutely wonderful!! Our sides delightful.. Main course…. Steaks were horrible. Not cooked correctly. Sent back still came out wrong. They did everything they could to fix the issue. However you cant replace the time spent… No we wouldn’t return. Just wanted to give it a try….

This place is amazing! Went a few days ago for dinner, my first time being here. The service was fantastic, we had multiple servers attending to us. Multiple members of the staff came to check on us and get to know us, ensuring that our time was fantastic. The food was exceptional, especially the crab cakes and oysters. Additionally, they have a fantastic selection of wines and desserts, so many choices!

Celebrating wedding anniversary. My husband made the reservations. I hadn’t visited the restaurant in over 35 years because I thought they closed years back. I must say service was superb. The staff made us feel special because they acknowledged the reason for our visit. We were offered a tour of the restaurant. I felt like I was back in time with much modern flair. Will definitely return. A huge thank you to the staff for the attentiveness to detail

Tonight was my first time trying this restaurant. It is located inside the historic Penobscot Building in Detroit. Lovely dining experience, I arrived earlier than my guest, and was happily given a tour by the host Matt. I was able to learn the history of the restaurant, as well as the building, and chat with Matt for a few, very nice gentleman. We started at the bar and had our bartender/waitress Shelly improvise lime mocktails for us, and she did not disappoint, they were great! We made our way to the dining table where we started with the burrata caprese and made our way to the T-Bone Dry-Aged steak with a side of mac and cheese. For our dessert, we ordered the chocolate torte and biscoff cake. The only reason I’m not going through item by item is because I have one thing to say about all of them, phenomenal. I recommend every single thing listed! It was all presented beautifully as well. Big thank you to our waitress, Shelly. She was very personable and happy to share a very thorough explanation of the history of the restaurant. She also was able to go through the items on the menu to help us decide what to order. Very kind of her to provide such great service! The atmosphere is gorgeous. It’s very modern yet it somehow still has a traditional feel to it. Unfortunately, it looks like the pianist was not there today however, this just leaves another reason for me to come back soon! Highly recommended, and intend to come back.

Let me tell you…This place is amazing. Matthew was awesome and took care of us, gave us a great table and was just was fun to be around. They went above and beyond. Him and Ron walked us to a bar for we could have an after dinner drink. Extra Mile! Ron was great and he went above and beyond.

Went here for our anniversary and it was phenomenal! John our waiter was attentive, helpful with the menu, back several times to see if we were good. I highly recommend him and the food here. The KC strip was outstanding and the wife got chicken scallopini that was excellent! Great vibe with a jazz themed setting, needless to say, we will be back soon

Excellent customer service, great ambiance, live music, and really good food. We sweet there to celebrate my wife’s birthday and she also enjoyed it. The starter bread was warm and really good. I had Lobster bisque and it was probably one of the best I ever had. For main course I Dry aged bone in ribeye with compound garlic butter. I enjoyed it. I had better steak at other high end restaurants, but this one was also very good. I asked for the pepper corn sauce and that was disappointing. My wife had the Chicken Scaloppine and that was amazing! I liked it better than my steak. Try it for yourself!

The ambiance is wonderful. Upscale but not pretentious. We had a cozy table in a corner. Wiod charred wedge salad, twice baked potatoe, and a delicious Kansas City Strip, cooked to perfection. Service was attentive and friendly. I look forward to coming here again.
