Amazing!! Heard so much about this place and finally glad I had the chance to go. Came here around 5:45pm on a weekday and there was already a 45 minute wait. Well worth it though. The food was delicious and the staff are super friendly. Can’t wait to make this one of our go-tos!

Finally got to come check it out. The word AMAZING falls short in compared to how delectable the food was. The best Italian spot hands down I’ve ever been to. Got the barrata, meatballs, and the special was a tortellini with sausage and spice added. SO delicious.

This tiny, unassuming restaurant next to a Walmart will blow your mind! The pastas, bread, and sauces are all homemade and have excellent flavor. It’s important to know that they don’t take reservations and seating is first come first serve. There will always be a line before they open, even during the week. If you come too late after the first or second round of seating, you can wait up to two hours.

Staff are always friendly. Food is excellent. We’ve been about 5 times. We’ve tried 3 different pastas. However, the first time we got the pear fiocchi and it’s by far the best pasta dish we’ve had outside of Italy. So the second and third times we tried one pear fiocchi, and one second dish. Both others were great but the pear fiocchi is hands down our favorite. Most recently I got it to go and it was still just as delicious as eating it in the restaurant. Plated pic is from 10/2021 and the to go box was from this month (and it slid around in my car so not as pretty of course!). Yes the wait is long at times, but it’s 100% worth the wait. Grab a drink from the bar while you wait. You will not be disappointed. Desert and apps, also good. (Meatballs, lemon cello cake)

Service was phenomenal by everyone, but especially by Joey and AJ. I arrived around 5pm and was told I had an hour wait. I took a seat at the bar instead of waiting for a table. I ordered Sunday Suppa (spicy) and duck with spicy risotto. The food was amazing. The drinks were fresh and delicious. I appreciate that the sangria is made in-house. It’s served with a splash of ginger ale. I also enjoyed the photos on the walls. Dan’s family should be proud of their legacy. The new Nocatee location will do just fine, and I look forward to its opening.

I just want to share that this restaurant l is one of the best experiences in Italian food I’ve had in a long time. They cook the sauce for 4 hours just like my mother did back from the old days. It’s that deep rich red sauce pasta pasta is all fresh.

We drove from st. Augustine because I found this restaurant on Facebook. The images on Facebook definitely did not match up to the exterior of the restaurant. My wife and I thought we were lost. But we went inside anyways. The inside was a cute small Italian upscale restaurant. Every person that was working was very nice. I didn’t have to ask for refills on anything. The food was some of the best pasta I’ve ever had. I generally stick to normal things but I tried the pear Fiocchi translates to “little purse” in Italian. It was heaven. My wife had the ravioli in Alfredo and that too was awesome. Then it came down to desserts where I wanted to try their special cannoli with nutella. The nice waitress walked to the back but said they ran out of filling. But offered to use their traditional filling and top it the way the specialty one was. I declined. The manager Ryan however came out and said he was sorry for the miscommunication but he will make it fresh real quick for me and that it was on the house. He discussed the restaurant and the plans for the one in nocatee (which is closer to me). Another server rushed to open the front door and wished us a safe drive home. It was worth the drive and just another showing to never judge a book by its cover.

This place is simply awesome and cannot do any better! It is a true “Mom and Pop” Italian restaurant that serves authentic Italian dishes – sorry, not Italian-American, but the real deal from the Old Country. Not alot of heavy creams or meaty sauces, but expect instead to have your taste buds absolutely come alive with garlic and olive oil, Portobello mushrooms and black truffle oil, balsamic glaze with citrus infusion… you just have to eat it to believe it. Their menu has a core set of entrees and side dishes, but every month they also add specialties to the menu that absolutely blow your mind away. The only problem is that then those specials that you loved go away. Hmmm, the owner is going to have to fix that! And to speak of the owners, they and their staff are constantly coming around to ask how you are doing, if you like the dish, would you like to try their current favorite this-or-that. Great welcoming atmosphere. But you better plan your arrival time, because the eating area is not large, and the waiting crowd can be, and NO ONE leaves once they are waiting because the food is that damn good! My wife and I are making a point to come here twice a month because of how much we appreciate the staff, enjoy their company (I’m talking about you, AJ!) and love the food. Oh, you want to know what dish my photo is of? That is the braised short ribs ravioli in a light garlic, black truffles, and olive oil sauce, topped with fresh Parmesan-Romano cheese. And yes, it’s one of those specials that will vanish soon, so get there now!

We had a great experience this evening, needed a wine recommendation and the bartender, Aaron, shared a fantastic choice! The service was out of this world, very attentive and caring team. Joey and Ryan took wonderful care of us, even added a touch of elegance with some special olive oil for the bread. The food was phenomenal, creamy chicken pesto and lasagna with recommendation of spicy Italian sausage! Small family joint, highly recommend, it is worth the wait!! We were lucky, wait time for us was only 15 minutes! Thank you for being such a wonderful dining experience! This is our sixth time dining, will not be the last, and even better over time!
