Relaxed, kid-friendly destination for steaks & chops, in addition to a lounge area.

Prime rib is the dish to get here. It was so good. The green beans were pretty tasty and the salad was good after not having had a lot of vegetables. The mashed potatoes and gravy were OK. I think for the town, this is the best option. Our service was great. Sit on the bar side. The dining room Side was oddly quite. The best part was our wine was 1/2 off! Bargain.

Well, I had dinner there almost a week ago with a group of friend’s, & the meal I had in the image looks good by picture, but the taste wasn’t good at all. The plate when the server brought it out, was cold when idealistically the plate should feel warm indicating the cook’s cooked it. Second the rib eye tasted lukewarm/cold due to the cook’s prepping it ahead of time & recooking it that ruined the quality. The Broccoli was cold & was so hard to eat that I didn’t eat all of it because Broccoli should always be thoroughly steamed & seasoned to where it’s soft & edible along with all vegetables should always be thoroughly steamed & soft. The only thing that was edible was the baked potato, but that was it. I don’t plan on coming back.

Service was lacking. Steak was not correctly cooked and waitress didn’t come back to check on us. Prime was tough.

Love the outside look of this restaurant. However, the inside is a bit confusing and didn’t seem to flow well with me. It seems it strives to be a fancy dining experience, but it seems to be a battle with industrial Ikea furniture and fixtures against the rustic look. I think this restaurant needs to decide what it wants to be, industrial and trendy or rustic and historical. The outside really sets the idea of what it should be, throw away the trendy hobby lobby pics and the ikea furniture and fixtures,,get some awsome, old original western artwork and put this place where it wants to be.
On to the food, I ordered a ribeye and it was cooked perfect, it was tender and juicy. Could use a bit of seasoning, though. What is going on with the salad? It is just lettuce, 2 little tomatoes, and 2 slices of cucumber. The bread is delicious, warm, and fluffy. Excellent servers and staff, very clean.

What an incredible dining experience at Cattleman’s Steakhouse! Even on a bustling Friday evening, my wife and I were seated almost immediately. The food was outstanding—my wife’s smothered chicken and my pork chops were both cooked to perfection and served with delicious loaded baked potatoes and side salads. The freshly baked, warm loaf of bread that arrived at our table with butter was a fantastic treat.
The highlight of our night, though, was our waitress. Despite having a full section, she was a true professional—attentive, friendly, and hustling to make sure everyone was happy. Her service was so exceptional that we felt compelled to leave a tip that was well over the cost of our meal. If you’re looking for great food and even better service in Show Low, this is the place to go!

This place is great, stopped in for my first time had the bluecheese steak salad and it was spot on. I ate solo in the lounge, the bar tender was great, very sociable and she was great on recommendations. I can’t wait to get back here with my wife to try the prime rib and some appetizers. I met the owner while having a beer, he was very nice and has alot of pride in his establishment (well deserved). I will definitely come back when I am visiting Show Low.

Ordered a Cesar salad with steak. All the lettuce was brown. The host said her manager couldn’t do anything about it and that he “tried” to give me the best pieces of lettuce but the harvest wasn’t great… and the manager still wasn’t willing to make it right or even offer a refund. Won’t be back.

Was in town looking at properties stop by for a nice dinner. We didn’t have reservations, but they sat us in the bar pretty quickly. I believe our server was named Kelly. She was very intentive on on top of it. My husband ordered his steak medium, but it was definitely well done we had it sent back and there was no issues and it was cooked to perfection. She made sure that the steak was cooked to his liking. I had the prime rib, which was absolutely fantastic. I also highly recommend the wine flight if you’re unsure about which one you want to order they have a fabulous selection Which I then decided what glass I wanted from the flight. Fingers crossed we will see you guys soon!

Was camping at Fools Hollow Lake and came here for dinner. Service was great…friendly staff and very attentive. Ordered stuffed mushrooms….they were good but very small appetizer with only three small mushrooms. House salad with everything was very good. Huge letdown was the prime rib. Wasn’t even warm, very tough and chewy and very bland even with the little sauce they provided. Creamy horseradish was good. Not worth the price of $125 in my opinion.

The waitress was told that it was my birthday, she said there would be ice cream & a candle brought, didn’t happen, but there were others that received it along with being sung to.
The cod, steak & baked potato was awesome, the roasted garlic broccoli wasn’t Very crunchy.
The waitress must have been new, others had small loaves of bread brought to their tables, we weren’t offered any. We did request a loaf to take home, it was very tasty.
We will return, none of our group of 7 had ever eaten here & for the most part it was enjoyable & the meat was very tasty.
