This dive bar right off the interstate , the stakes were cold, and the loaded mashed potatoes tastedo like dirt. The lighting was….ok it’s a dive bar…there was one AC unit to the 5000 sq.restaurant area. Place the one family of 9 had the father get up and take the only fan that was in the area that my daughter and I were sitting in. The waitress ran from the time we got there to the time we left…left her a 10.00 tip

A great local Steak House with friendly people, good food and drinks, and an awesome Ribeye!
The main dinning area is closed now with discussion of opening a Tap Room with local brewed New Mexico beers. As of now you can get a handful of local NM brews in cans or bottles, as well as a selection of various other main stream beers on tap and/or in bottles. Plus a fully stocked bar.
So in the mean time the bar area is open for drinks and dinner service. It may not look like much…but it’s a great hole in the wall with good food and drinks.
I suggest the 8oz Ribeye Steak Dinner. Great tasting steaks, comes with side salad and 1 other side all for a reasonable cost of roughly $12.99.

Seated at the bar, my martini on the rocks started the meal in fine fashion. My prime rib came out as requested, very rare. I felt lucky to find this place in my solo travels.
