First time visiting and really enjoyed it! Location is a little dated and it seemed under construction, but don’t let it fool you!

The location in Fort Worth is excellent and the history runs deep at this restaurant. The atmosphere is dated, but we loved it and the steak and chicken was delicious! The condiment server that came with the baked potato was nice bonus. We had our service animal with us and no one made us feel uncomfortable. She just sat in the corner out of the way.

This was a casual establishment. Average, this the 3 stars on atmosphere. Service was great, everyone was nice and courteous.

Our first here and already planning the return trip! Got family to try the calf fries they are awesome! Alonso is an all-around PHENOMENAL person! If you eat here, make sure to ask for him, His service is top shelf! Very friendly, kept our drinks filled, let us know the status of our food anytime he came by. ALONSO, YOU’RE AWESOME!

We were in the stockyards on a Friday night and were able to make a reservation online and get a reservation an hour later, which for the stockyards is great. Our server sucked which ruined the experience. My husband and I don’t want to ever go back. We got refills once the 2 hours we were there. The food took forever. We had a view of the chefs and it wasn’t them it was the server slacking it. My son’s fries were cold. My 6 shrimp were $32 and they were rubbery because they had been sitting there by where the chef was for God knows how long. Don’t waste your time here. They are far better options for less money.

Cattlemen’s is the pinnacle of an old classic Texas steak house. Prime choice of the freshest meat that is displayed in a freezer box in front of you. No need to put any sauces on the steak because it is so naturally tasty that your mouth will water while eating. Salad with ranch dressing and a loaded baked potato rounds out the classic Texas steak meal. And don’t forget the giant cow photographs all over the restaurant. For me this is the best steak experience in Texas.

Made a road trip here from San Antonio, well worth the trip! My fiance and I started with a cup of loaded baked potato soup very flavorfull and not too salty. The shoot’em up shrimp with sauce were hot, crispy and delicious.

We tried Cattlemen’s based on recommendations from some friends. We ate during lunch hours on a Wednesday prior to seeing the steers coming down the road.

Steaks were perfection! I had the 11 oz Ribeye. Service was attentive but not distracting. Their dinner rolls were great too. Bread pudding with Bourbon sauce was to die for! Prices were ‘reasonable’ considering. Atmosphere is very old school. Go there!!

While I will say this was our second choice after our first didn’t work out, this will be the place to go to first next time. The server was outstanding and he made the evening great. Answered any questions and was able to joke with us in passing.
