A big whopper ribeye steak and some proper chunky chips, and onion rings: what’s not to like.
Three of us went, first time, we all had the ribeye and peppercorn sauce. Very good.
And the geezers that served us were good craic too. Though not too confident in his barista abilities, he made a very good flat white too.
We’d return when next in Harrogate; maybe a burger next time, they looked epic.

A great restaurant for anyone looking for a quality yet good value steak. Some elements of the decor are getting a little dated, but that’s also part of the charm, and it’s obvious that it’s been an institution in the town for many years.
The staff are friendly and welcoming and aren’t too stuffy with the service despite being professional and efficient. The mixed grill was really good value for the size and quality, with every item being cooked perfectly. There’s a good range of drinks on offer at equally sensible prices, and the atmosphere throughout our visit was good.
A great steak restaurant which I’ll certainly be returning to!

We fancied a steak so booked a table here and it didn’t disappoint! We had the fillet and rib eye and they were both super tender and cooked perfectly as we ordered them! I would definitely come back.

Lovely food and kind staff, all orders were made correctly and of satisfactory heat.
If ordering off of the early door menu (12.00 – 18.00 most days) then specify or you shall be charged as if it was a normal meal as we found out today.
Photo linked is the “Fudge Cake” with vanilla icecream. Apologies for the fact it is blurry. It tasted amazing, but could’ve been hotter to allow the icecream to melt over it.
Staff placed a candle in a fudge cake and allowed us to sing Happy Birthday to our friend (0 added cost).
Overall a lovely place, would eat again for sure. Recommend it!

Another 1st time place. Used because I was working away. Couldn’t fault it at all. Defo worth a visit and so glad my friend suggested it. Food was delicious and I defo want to give the steak challenge a go. Maybe next time.

It is the second time we have come here for a celebration and it once again it did not disappoint! All of the food was really good, steaks cooked exactly to how you want them and with not a long wait either. The options of sides paired lovely with the steaks and their tex-mex options were great as well. It’s no surprise it was busy for a Monday night! The staff were really nice which made the experience even better. Absolutely would come back again and massively recommend.

Definitely one of the best meals we’ve ever had, we found this little gem in the centre of Harrogate, they have excellent service and their food is really delicious, every bite full of flavour. The rump and rib eye steaks were amazing, thick cuts and juicy, cooked with a chargrill finish, it was like bbq heaven. The staff were very attentive, it was also very reasonable with cost taking into consideration the quality of the food, good portions and friendly atmosphere.

Ate here last night & cannot recommend this place enough. We had sharing nachos & fillet steak. This was the best steak I have had in a long time, cooked to perfection
The service was excellent too & all the staff were friendly & polite & not in your face but there if you needed anything.

Dishes very good and very tasty, cooked just right,steak very juicy and tender. Burgers tender, moist and cooked proper and flavored well.
