The hostess and our waitress were phenomenal — warm, attentive, and genuinely accommodating throughout the evening.
Unfortunately, it was 46 degrees outside and the air conditioner was running, which made it difficult to be comfortable inside the restaurant.
Our appetizers came out promptly and were delicious. However, 3 of the 4 steaks at our table were overcooked. In full transparency, two were ordered medium well but were served well done. My 4oz filet was cooked perfectly at medium, and the baked potato was excellent as well.
They graciously replaced one steak, and the second attempt was delicious. My husband ended up sharing his steak with our two guests so they would have more to eat, as their steaks were unfortunately not edible despite their best effort.
We spoke with who I believe was a manager regarding the cuts of meat, as they appeared to be different from what was ordered. While we were told they were ribeyes, they had no marbling and resembled overcooked New York strips in both appearance and taste.
We truly love supporting local restaurants and want to see them succeed. The team did provide complimentary dessert, and our waitress remained apologetic and accommodating.
Overall, between the uncomfortable temperature and multiple issues with food quality, it wasn’t the dining experience we were hoping for while treating our agents to dinner.

Best steak I have had in years! (I had the ribeye with those awesome little crispy hot sauce shallots) Service was wonderful and the manager, David Carona, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy with our meal/service. I can’t wait to go back!

We had an amazing dining experience at Cattlemen’s Grill! Our crab cake appetizer was wonderful! Don’t skip the tomato topping. It was so tasty and complimented the crab cakes. Haley, the bartender, perfected a hibiscus margarita that was so smooth and refreshing- so good! We had the 16oz ribeye, mashed potatoes with Demi-glaze and the honey roasted brussel sprouts. All were cooked to perfection! Our server, Jaylon, was friendly, timely, and efficient. You won’t be disappointed if she’s your server. Dave Carona checked on us and made us feel at home. Excellent service and a scrumptious meal! We will definitely be returning!

the first time I came here when they first opened, I was amazed. Was one of my favorite steaks in Hattiesburg. I’ve been twice since then and have been disappointed in the food ever since. They used to have a coffee crusted steak and it was out of this world. Now only option is salt, pepper, & garlic… barely any flavors. Hoping they will redo their menu and bring back the flavor.

Went for lunch today, ordered the Fried Green Tomato STACK, and Garlic aioli fries to go equaling $36.. the $13 fried green tomato stack came with 2 small discs of tomato and the fries weren’t fully cooked!!! Utterly disappointed in the quality of food along with the outrageous prices!! I’ll not be returning! Save your money and go to half shell!!

This is hands down one of the best steak houses I have been too. My steak has been made to perfection each time. The food portioning is more than enough to fill you up. The drinks are amazing. Highly recommended the crab cake as an appetizer. I have had excellent service from the waitresses, the General Manager Dave Carona taking time to touch and speak to each table of customers while dining. As well as the owner shaking hands and greeting customers. Definitely recommend. I drive over an hour just to eat here!!!

My husband and I decided to try Cattlemen’s Grill tonight in Hattiesburg MS.
We both got hamburgers and fries. The food was delicious and cooked perfect. Our waitress, Broke, was awesome. Very attentive and kind. The manager checked on us as well and was very friendly and professional.
