Food was good. The Ranch and Avocado Chicken Melt was great and I highly recommended trying it. The trail boss wings were also good and I recommend the lemon pepper rub. The service was lacking. There were two waitresses and our waitress rarely checked on us. We tried flagging her down but she either didn’t see us or ignored us so we had to get the other waitress to bring us refills and other things like that. Overall a solid lunch stop for a place that’s only been open for 3 months and hopefully they work out their staff problems.

Casual, diner/ranch style atmosphere.
We were welcomed & seated right away. Our orders were taken within a short time and there was also not a long wait for getting drinks and food.
Started with a fresh House Salad with balsamic vinaigrette. Followed by Chicken Fried Steak. The steak was hand battered, great crust and tender meat. Gravy & mashed potatoes were both creamy and well-seasoned. Green beans were also good with a bit of bacon and a hint of spice that we really liked.
Overall we enjoyed our meal and service too.

From outta town and was told to check this place out; It’s fantastic!
The food is great, plus it’s a quaint place to enjoy it. Marcus is a great asset and hard worker, just give him some time and he’ll take care of ya.
I personally loved the Chicken Fried Steak, completely scratch made, not that frozen crap that a few other places have around town.
Also, the Skillet Cookie is great, especially for the price!

The website looked spectacular, so we gave it a try. The exterior of the restaurant is a rustic feel with great signage. Walking in, the interior decor is attractive and indicative to the area. The restaurant appears clean and well maintained. The menu options are desirable. Our server was excellent at taking care of us. When the food arrived my mushroom swiss burger was perfect, as was the sauteed mushrooms that I ordered with it. However, my husband’s catfish was not fully cooked. Being as close to the title “chef” without having the official title, he knows catfish. For thirty years of eating with this man, he has never sent food back, but needed to this time. The “manager” stated that “it’s just fresh fish,” and sent it back to him. We had the server remove the dish from the ticket and we left, with my husband still hungry. Since my food was good, and the server was excellent, I then suggest to not choose the catfish, and I believe you will be happy.

Been here a couple of times now. Won’t be back. Staff seems to turn over regularly. Very slow service. Took 40 minutes for our plates to begin to come out one at a time and cold. By the time the last plate of four arrived the rest of the table was done or near done. Food would be decent if it was served hot. Small dining room with tables close together. Not very inviting or comfortable. Didn’t seem to know how to make some pretty basic cocktails. I would have shared some of the shortcomings more directly but was told the owner wasn’t available.

The hamburger was excellent as I would expect the steaks to be also. We had green chili artichoke dip which had nice flavors but could have used higher quality chips for dipping. The staff were kind. I would visit again.

Went for breakfast yesterday. Ordered what the menu said was 3 eggs, link sausage, hash browns and sour dough toast. Also ordered a blood mary.
After waiting a while the server told us they were working on the bloody mary mix and it would be another 5-10 minutes. I canceled the drink order since it already sounded iffy. Breakfast came out with 2 eggs not 3, not sausage links but one patty, sourdough was old rye bread. I questioned my order. The waitress informed me she was new and so was the chef. So they didn’t know the menu yet? Told me the rye toast was really sourdough. Very seldom write bad reviews, this place is bad. The owners need to get in there and fix the issues.

Our server was superb, she was friendly, attentive and service was prompt. My wife and I both ordered the chicken fried steak. Our meals were very good and cooked to perfection. It reminded me of a “home cooked” meal.

I’ve been wanting a chicken fried steak like I get in texas. The CFS was probably one of the best I ever had! The green beans were the best. I might come in and order green beans only. Service was a little slow, but the young lady was all by herself and she was still able to give us smile and the dining room was full with 4 people sitting at the bar. She could have had some help, but she did the best she could . We will be back. This will be my go to chicken fried steak fix place! Cudos the the waitress!
