Cattlemen’s Cafe is a new restaurant coming to Sidney, MT in 2024. While Cattlemen’s is new it comes with a long history of great food and great customer service established by the M&M Cafe. A staple in the Sidney area from the early 1970’s until it closed it’s doors in 2013. Cattlemen’s owners Ira and Amy Lake are excited to bring many of the M&M favorites to their cafe while adding some new and delicious items to the menu. Cattlemen’s Cafe will be located at Sidney Livestock Market Center. The cafe is currently being remodeled. The remodel is estimated to be complete in July 2024 and Cattlemen’s is planning to open shortly after. So stay tuned!

I grew up eating in salebarn cafes with my dad and my grandpa. I was really excited to bring my kids to the cafe to eat. The service was top notch. Our waitress had a table waiting for us before my kids and I even got into the restaurant. All of our food was hot and fresh. Prices were reasonable given how expensive everything is these days. Wait wasn’t bad either considering how busy it was while we were there.

Beautiful refinished diner that is fresh and clean. They were extremely busy on a Sunday morning when we got there, and we got one of the last tables available. Our waitress kept our drinks filled and checked on us while we waited for our food. The food was good and different from the other breakfast place in town. The service was great, and we would come back again if we decided to go out for breakfast in the future.

Basic breakfast food more like convenience. Store quality than cooked to order. Good place for the locals to catch up with each other. I ordered the French toast and it was chilly inside so it probably came out of the freezer and was popped in the toaster.

Came for lunch Saturday. Love the remodel, love the cowboy hat light fixtures as well. I use to frequent this place when it was Sadie’s for the Burger and fries. I will say, it’s MUCH cleaner and a lot more pleasing to the eye.
The food: fantastic. I got the clsssic farmers breakfast (2 eggs hash browns, toast and sausage patty) and it all got finished. I have to add, the coffee was better than your typical diner/breakfast joint coffee. That leaves an impression to me and my wife ate there today and she mentioned the same thing. Coffee was great!
Service was great as well! There were 3-4 other tables full and the wait staff seemed to have everything in control. It took maybe 15 minutes to get our food from the time we ordered.
Pricing was good. Walked out of there for under $20 for breakfast with an old friend. I’m satisfied.
Looking forward to trying this place for lunch. I always came for the burger and fries in the past.
