What I ordered were the beef medallions. In the menu they are described as three 3-ounce medallions served on mashed potatoes with a demi-glaze. I had ordered them there in the past and they were quite good cuts from the filet. What I received this time looked like beef tips in a gravy sauce. There is no way to know what the actual cut of meat was and they were definitely NOT medallions. When I pointed it out to the waitress she sent someone to our table who did not identify her position in the restaurant. I told her that I had ordered the medallions and what I received was nowhere close to filet medallions I ordered. I was told it was how they were doing it and I could take it or leave it. The only attempt to correct it was an offer to go cut the meat the way I wanted it. I told the manager (?) that I had only wanted it the way it was printed in their menu and I said that the customer should actually received what they order from their menu or they should change the description. She made a snide comment about changing the entire menu just to please me and walked away.
I suggest that if you choose to eat at this establishment, you ask for a detailed description of what you will actually receive when you order your food.

Decided to try this place on our way into Utah. It’s AMAZING!! We got the steak medallions over mashed potatoes, red chili, and the fries. The food was hot and FRESH! And ALL of it was so flavorful. Our waitress brought the food and said the chef was making the fries. It was not until the fries came out (only a few minutes) that we realized she meant he was literally cutting up the potatoes making the fries fresh and do perfectly crispy.
Our waitress, Courtney, was sweet and on point. Our drinks never ran out. We will come back!

My first time visiting this establishment. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and my 3 year old picked our table. Clean, rustic and welcoming. We had 5 adults as well. For the table we ordered fried pickles, 3 chicken friends steaks, cattlemen’s burger, open faced chili burger and Mac n cheese. 3 of us got salad as a side. Salad bar was great, clean and organized. All the food was amazing. Service was excellent the girls worked as a team checking the on us and bringing us our orders. Great team work! Thank you.

Very disappointed with our experience. Not our first time at Cattleman’s, but have never had an amazing experience and figured we would try it again! We went on prime rib night, ordered our prime rib medium. We waited an hour for our food and it was not busy at all, then our prime rib came out extremely well done, grayish, curled up and cold. Extremely disappointed you would even serve the food with the way it looked. Absolutely not worth $70. And zero compensation was made.

Early dinner for hub’s bday, first time there. Basic western-ranch decor, worn but clean. Earnest young server was delightful. We ordered the 10oz ribeyes and I asked for med-rare. We got thin-cut ribeyes cooked very unevenly, only a pale patch of pink here and there on mine, so it was VERY overdone. I hated to do it, but I sent it back. At least I had the sides to eat while waiting: mashed potatoes were great, green beans cooked with onion okay but very oily. Next steak was rare-red in the first place I cut into it and unevenly cooked same as other; I gave up and ate the best parts and took the rest home! Green beans and steak were swimming in oil/grease. Train your cooks how to cook a steak plz!
Don’t plan to go back unless it’s on a whim to try one of their desserts.
For a $26 steak, you’d think they could at least provide warm bread or rolls .

Went in on Valentine’s day. Didn’t realize that we should (or could) have made a reservation and they told there was a 45-60 minute wait but was able to squeeze us in after only waiting less than 10 minutes. Service was great and food was delicious, as always. It’s one on my favorite date night spots.

Perfectly seared, yet rare, filet mignon, a fresh salad bar with ample options, and a bartender/waitress that actually cared about our dining experience. This was a refreshing contrast to the many restaurants in downtown Junction that charge twice as much.

Our meals weren’t prepared by some chef bent on showing off or foisting the latest crazy culinary fusion fad on us, it was a cook that knows how to prepare a steak and cares about doing it right.

The owners of this establishment should be proud of their staff, as well as themselves, none of this happens by accident

We will be back, just not as soon as we would like.

I was looking forward to a good steak, but sadly it was amongst some of the worst steaks we’ve had. Of the 4 of us, only 1 steak was cooked as ordered and one had to be sent back twice. They lacked in flavor. Seeing how they have a cattle auction on site we were hopeful they would would have been amazing. The waitress, Micheala, was amazing. She’s the only reason they aren’t getting 2 starts and not 1. I would not eat here again.

Maybe we caught an off night but this wasn’t a great visit. We thought the fried pickles were good but had they been cooked another minute or two they would’ve had a nice crisp crunch to them. We both enjoyed the salad bar. The filet was ordered medium and was quite a ways away from being there, the rib eye was ordered medium rare and while close it wasn’t quite there either. My ribeye was tasty but actually served at room temperature, I wouldn’t even call it warm per se. Normally I would have mentioned these issues to the server but while extremely friendly she only stopped by to ask us about our meal when it was delivered, we never saw her again until we stopped her to order the dessert, which was great by the way. We will try here again in hopes of a better experience.

We did Monday at lunch. It was slow in the grill and bar but the service was great. Food was classic grill and tasted just as expected, and a great price. Great!
Highly recommend.
