Cattleman’s Roadhouse is a locally owned, Kentucky Proud restaurant. We are not a chain, but we do now have several locations in the surrounding area. We are just a couple of Kentucky boys serving great steaks! We pride ourselves in local buying and suppliers. When we opened our first restaurant, we scoured the state to find the best quality foods possible. Our steaks are aged 28 days, hand-cut, and are second to none in tenderness and flavor. Our burgers are Aspen Ridge All Natural Beef that is certified, humanely raised, with NEVER any antibiotics. From our locally sourced produce to our handmade desserts by Helen, we strive to serve better quality foods than other casual restaurants.

This is the best place to eat in Danville Ky. Always the friendliest staff, and the food is always amazing. This is the best place to get a steak and the salad bar is so full of options. The GM Eddie always makes it a point to check all the customers and their experiences with a smile. Marissa has been my waitress a few times and she is always so happy and attentive. Brittany, another server was very exceptional and fast. All around great crew and great food! Keep up the awesome work!

The food was great! We stopped in for the first time tonight and really enjoyed our experience. The restaurant was clean and had a fun atmosphere. The salad bar was amazing! I mean seriously the bar is worth a visit all by itself. Our server was very friendly and attentive to our needs (our drinks were refilled continuously, and we were checked on several times while we ate our meal). I had the 10oz Sirloin meal with a baked potato and the salad bar. According to the menu, their steak’s are aged at least 30 days. This resulted in a delicious beefy flavor. My son had the steak bites meal off of the kid’s menu with a baked potato and the salad bar and he said it was really good. I highly recommend trying this place out if you’re in the area. We will definitely be back soon.

We waited for our food for a long time. There were tables seated about the same time as us, they did the self serve salad bar. They were done eating and out of there before we got our food. In total we were in there well over an hour and we ate fast. The server kept the drinks full, and when the food did come it was correct and good.

My dad and I were in town for the funeral of his older brother. I had been to cattleman’s a few years ago with my mom. I was thrilled to get Kim as our server again! My dad and I had a difficult trip from CO to KY for the service and the best part of our 48 hours in the Danville area was our meal at Cattleman’s. We both had the fillet, baked potatoes and my favorite, fried pickles. Kim was excellent and efficient and made our experience even better. Me and my family wish we could dine there more often, the food is consistent and delicious and everyone on staff shines. Parker the host was another standout! We live in Denver Colorado but the food and team was so good we can’t wait to come back.

The food is usually great. It depends on who is cooking I think. Sometimes it seems like they forget to use any seasonings on the steaks. When they get it right, it’s fantastic. The salad bar is by far the best around. The prices are on the high side, but not bad for a steak house. We eat there pretty regularly and would recommend it to anyone.
