I’ve ate my share of chicken fried steak in my travels around the US, but wow. Talk about cooked to perfection, juicy, crispy, and flavorful.
Rib eye and quail, tasted great, full of flavor.
After talking to the waitresses, the restaurant just changed new management and they are doing some changes, sorry no fried pie, but as far as quality of food and service, it’s top notch.
Worth the stop and after comparing prices, it’s cheaper then most places around.

Definitely an amazing experience, we had excellent service from the waitress name Sherry and staff. There was live music One gentleman with his guitar and his voice was actually pleasing for dinner. I will definitely be returning and letting people know hands down this is better than Cattle Baron ❤️

This was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The parking lot was full when we parked and the restaurant was packed when we entered. My family and I were greeted warmly when we walked in and seated promptly. Everyone on the waiting staff we beyond attentive and friendly. Because it was so busy we were naturally expecting a wait for our food. The owner approached us shortly after we ordered our meals and proactively apologized for how long the food might take. He explained that each dish is made to order from scratch to ensure the best quality and that usually adds to the wait on a good day. Now here is the kicker… It didn’t feel like a long wait at all. It was quicker than most of the other places I have dined at. The food was very flavorful, the steaks cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place if you want a good meal AND an atmosphere that feels like home.

I love eating here. The menu has something for everyone. The food is fantastic. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great. Down home cooking at its best. I had a perfectly prepared steak (a rarity – I’m picky) baked potato and beans. And the jalapeño corn bread is really a must (sweet and tangy). Sorry, they don’t serve adult beverages.

This is an awesome place to eat! I ordered a 12 oz NY Strip, baked potato, and side salad. The steak was one of the best I’ve had in quite a while. The Cattle Baron is good, but price wise and all that, this place is the way to go. I’m looking forward to eating here again!

Wait staff was a little rude right off. Was left standing waiting to be seated while 2 waitresses passed right by us without so much of a glance. Experience started off badly….the manager who eventually seated us saved it a little with his charm and humor…the steak’s saved it up to 4 start review because they were excellent. Kitchen staff seemed to be a little in-experienced though…we ordered a macaroni and cheese appetizer and it never came…seems the kitchen staff made the wrong thing…then didn’t have enough noodles to make the right one….manager tried to offer it to us on the house later but the moment was lost. Regardless…if you can make it past the waitresses and the other flops…the cuts of meat were excellent and perfectly cooked.

Chicken Fried Chicken with the white & brown gravy was scrumptious, sides fantastic. Employees so kind, makes you feel at home. Atmosphere spectacular. After eating there once you will want to eat there again, as we have & we’re from out-of-state.

Great food and prices plus the staff were very friendly. There is a lunch special which makes it even more economical. A member of our party ordered mac and cheese and it was certainly homemade which earns extra points. The Beltbuster burger was quite large. Great place to eat in Roswell.
