Cats Luck Vegan is, in a word: perfect. The atmosphere of the cafe itself is incredibly warm and welcoming, with cute, eclectic art adorning the walls. I love that they regularly have items for sale from local makers, and often have fundraisers to benefit important causes and even to help community members in need. Their compassion and generosity knows no bounds.
I’ve been visiting for years, but still have yet to try everything on their menu! They have weekly specials to keep things even more exciting, but you really can’t go wrong with anything you order. Their portions are huge, they have options to satisfy both sweet and savory palates, and offer gluten free options as well. I’m incredibly partial to the crunchwraps (especially the Brunch Crunch) and the loaded fries (the CBR Fries are one of my all time faves).
I live over an hour away and am not able to visit nearly as often as I would like to, but I cherish every meal I’ve had there. You can tell that the owner Michelle and her staff truly put their whole hearts into everything they make. Cats Luck is an absolute gem, and I hope it’s around for a long, long time.

This place is incredible!!! The only complaint I could ever have is that they don’t always have pizza rolls (but even then, they do have pizza bagels!) Cats Luck has the best food in the area, hands down, and the best people and atmosphere. Always welcoming and awesome and they have such cool stuff!! You can rent VHSs here?! Are you kidding me? I love Cats Luck. You have to try it!!

Food is great, so flavorful and filling. Service and staff is great and friendly. Took close to a 2 hour drive to finally try you guys out and it was definitely worth the trip! My non-vegan boyfriend is also excited for our next visit ! Thanks for a great lunch!

Tattooed, pierced, rough around the edges. EXACTLY how I like em’. A great plus is that they’re a vegan eatery. The only place I can go for vegan food around in a close proximity. Love their milks, it’s so hard to find plant milks for my coffees, and they always have exactly that! They even collect donations for multiple charities, and give out free necessities to the community. Never meet a cooler group of people. I like it here. I even asked to take a picture with them, as I’ve never been around tattooed or pierced people before. One for the scrapbooks!

I can’t say enough good things about Cats Luck…for starters, the food is amazing. There are a bunch of (also great) local Jersey Shore vegan places that do the typical “earthy” vegan food vibe, but Cats Luck is all about serving ethical and morally sound food that could probably pass as not vegan any day of the week. Everything I’ve ever eaten at Cats Luck has been amazing (highly recommended the Crunch Wraps).
But that’s not it… super kitschy and niche. It’s literally the place I go to hang out, eat GREAT food, and watch awesome VHS tapes, all while getting a chance to meet some of the coolest, most friendly people I’ve ever met. It’s a whole community in that place, and I consider myself lucky to get to be part of it.
The owner, and everyone who works there, pours their heart and soul into everything they do and every day they work. Amazing place and amazing people.

I can only ever visit this place one week a year when I travel to the Jersey Shore, but it’s what I look forward to most when I do (and what I dream about the rest of the year)! The staff are the kindest around, the owner clearly cares about the community and Asbury/larger small business scene, and the food is INCREDIBLE. Never had an even an average experience, everything done here is exceptional and clearly crafted with intention. Best apple cider donut I’ve ever had, vegan or otherwise. Best everything bagel in existence. Best ever, 11/10.

loooove the desserts. rainbow cookie and moon pie is deliciousssss. can’t go wrong with any of their desserts. the disco fries are AMAZING, the gravy is my new fav. I got the crunch wrap and the caesar chicken sandwhich which was good but felt like it was missing something flavor wise, also wish the crunch wrap came with extra sour cream or guac. definitely open to trying more from there. atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are very sweet. would recommend 100% also love the VHS rental they introduced.

Great breakfast & lunch food with variety and outside of the box specials! Their bakery case is unrivaled. They have so many baked goods & sweets I thought I’d never experience again after becoming vegan! The atmosphere is cozy like you’re at your cool woke grandma’s house in best way possible.
