I had a wonderful dining experience at Catrachos. The huevos rancheros were exceptionally flavorful and served with freshly made tortillas, which truly enhanced the meal. I also enjoyed a latte, which was rich and well prepared.

I would like to commend Anny, our server, for her professional, attentive, and courteous service throughout our visit. The restaurant offers a pleasant and elegant atmosphere, making it an excellent place for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.

I’ll start by saying that Catrachos might be one of the best , if not the best , dining experience I’ve had in a long time. Service , Food , and atmosphere all 10/10 . Everything we got came in shareable portions and the Parillada for 8 people can feed atleast 10 adults easily. If you’re into pupusas this place has an amazing selection and if you’ve never tried pupusas or any kind of Central American cuisine , this is the right place to go no doubt.

After reviewing the restaurant’s website ahead of our visit, I was skeptical that we would enjoy our dinner. My primary concerns were that there are several misspellings, the menu is hard to find and poorly organized, and (much to my horror in advance of our Saturday evening visit) the website boasts in all-caps that they have “KARAOKE AND BAR AREA ON WEEKENDS”.

I worried that the website’s lack of focus on the restaurant’s food was an early warning of a similar lack of focus at the restaurant itself. Boy was I wrong!

The in-restaurant menu is an expansive list of Honduran and Salvadoran fare. I had heard of and eaten some of the items on the menu, but was unfamiliar with most of the entrees.

The menu also includes more familiar Mexican options, but I was feeling a bit adventurous and wanted to try something new, so I ordered the Carne Guisada and I am so glad I did because it was absolutely delicious! The meat was so tender it basically melted in my mouth.

Everyone in our group of eight thoroughly enjoyed everything they ordered. Every dish was plated with an eye for detail and included generous portions. The beans and tortillas were some of the best we’ve had, the desserts were great (the tres leches was the crowd favorite), and all of the cocktails we ordered were very good.

And, to my surprise, even the karaoke worked well! We will definitely be back!

5/5 starts. 100% recommend this place. It was very delicious, neat, beautiful, and clean. We got the Salvadorean breakfast which brings beans, eggs, plantains, cheese, sour cream, and homemade tortillas. We also ordered some rellenotos de platanos. We got one of each; one with beans and the other with sweet milk. Complimentary chips once you sit down, very good as well. Definitely will be going back for lunch or dinner since the options looked very good as well.

It was our first time enjoying Catrachos 2 in WVC.

The service was impeccable. Our server, Yani, in particular, was phenomenal. She answered our questions about the menu as it was our first time trying some of the selections.

The atmosphere is elegant, but not stuffy. In fact, there was a family with a baby enjoying their meal and having a marvelous time celebrating a birthday.

The horchata is the best so far from a local restaurant that we’ve enjoyed. They offer free refills on this and other flavors of Aguas Frescas.

For the Salvadoran experience, we tried the birria and chicken cheese pupusas. If you buy two, you get a bean one free. The bean one, ironically, was our favorite and had so much depth of flavor. The curtido slaw was addictive. ❤️

We enjoyed two types of Honduran meals: Cena Isla de Bahia and Carne Asada a la Plancha. Both were large portions and could be shared. The carne was perfectly cooked and tender, the plantains a nice change from fries. ❤️

We walked out with leftovers for the next day, happy tummies, and an experience that will bring us back as loyal customers.

¡Muchas Gracías! ☀️ ❤️❤️

✅️Tips:
1) They have a drive thru and the to-go horchata is a huge cup.
2) The menu also has a 2-3 person portion meal offerings.
3) If the party is over 5, automatic gratuity is added.
4) They sell snacks, goods and treats in the store front setting by the front door, which I thought was unique.

First time here so we did a mini tour of the papusas and had to try the birria tacos. We ordered 2 pork 2 birria 2 chicken papusas. We got the plátanos con crema but it did not have the frijoles with it. The Croatia had a great flaver but very mild. The salsa was really nice but thin. Very mild no kick at all in the food so safe to bring the kids to eat. Everything came out perfectly as ordered and cooked well. We did not find out till after we ordered that they have a buy 2 get 1 free on the pausas so we did not spend as much as we planned to. For all the food it was about $55ish. Not a bad prices at all for good food and you get very decent severing size for the prices.

Recorded music was not too loud. I was not bombarded with TV screens. Atmosphere and decor is great.

The food was amazing. We got a churrasco which was more than enough to feed me and my wife with extra to spare. See photos for the deconstructed version we took home. One was a cartoon full of meat!

Update: They had live music on a Saturday that we went! It was awesome. Loud for me, but he nailed the notes. Good energy.
