Good, fresh Chinese food and we appreciate the ability to order entrees à la carte without rice and noodles.
Nice range on the menu and perfect for us- vegetable chicken and green bean chicken as a good reset.
The restaurant does not have dine in any longer and is just a take away place. It isn’t fancy, but looks clean and functional behind the partition.
The staff was very friendly, the food came out quickly and we would go again if a quick meal was needed and we were in the area.

I really like this place. It’s been consistently good for a very long time. I just recently went after a few years hiatus and it’s better than ever. Good old-fashioned American style Chinese food. Total comfort food! The house chow mein is amazing, they do not skimp on their meat! The honey shrimp is also amazing and I really like their house hot oil. Highly recommend coming here if you want Chinese food that tastes nostalgic. The prices are very affordable so it’s a convenient place to get a meal for the whole family.

It has been a long while since I haven’t been to Cathey Express for lunch. I decided to have my lunch there today. I found out they had closed the dining room and ordered food to go only now.
The lady there is very polite, and the service is fast. I ordered the number 5 combo – Broccoli Beef with BBQ Pork Fried Rice and Chicken Chow Mein. It took her only a few minutes to have it ready. I have a delicious lunch in only a few minutes. It is excellent if you need a quick meal. The broccoli beef is a little too salty. But still yummy! I’ll try more items later on their menu. The prices are reasonable too!

I have to edit this post because the chow fun was excellent. And on my on line order I requested more pork and they gave me just that! So the moral of this story is YES, get their food, just don’t d9 delivery!!

When I called the restaurant to complain about cold food and poor service they said to contact delivery company.
I selected their recommended delivery service therefore the restaurant should handle this situation. They refused to help me ir refund my purchase.

We got it delivered. The nastiest unworthy Chinese fake food I’ve ever tasted. I’m eating the chicken chow mein. There are no vegetables in it. Just a bunch of big sloppy spaghetti noodles bigger than spaghetti noodles very nasty & a waste of my money and I’m so sorry that I ordered from this place will never do it again. If you come here, it will be very disappointing. By the way, anybody who gives it a good review it’s either because they ate there a long time ago or they are the people that work. There are friends with them. The sesame chicken is not even chicken. I don’t know what kind of meat it is but it’s not chicken and it’s pretty tough. I ordered the honey shrimp and OMG you guys there was nothing in there the tiniest little shrimp with nothing but a ton of breading on there and it was gross.

Nice little spot to grab some made to order Chinese food. I was in this parking lot before and never even noticed this tiny little hole in the wall restaurant. My daughter told me about this place. We’ve been eating more plant based and vegetarian options and this place has a pretty nice variety to choose from.

Idk what happened to this place. I used to like it during the pandemic, but I ordered it tonight and the food was inedible. The sesame beef was mushy and was so salty I could not eat it. Threw $10 in the trash. They also do not give you fortune cookies on DoorDash orders

The orange and general chicken was okay. The egg roll was burnt and the Styrofoam container melted to the top of the other container. Everything was packed really messy. Liquid was everywhere.

I order food here tonight. We order house chow fun, salt n pepper wings, and combo plate # 7. Not a disappointment. Food was really good and fresh. And the price was not bad at all. Thank you so much. I will definitely order or go done in if it’s open. Love the food.
