The food was great! Our waitress was overloaded, as was the other workers. But they were all amazing even short staffed! My only complaint is we would have preferred more mayo on the sandwiches. But the food was great none the less! Our waitress refilled our drinks, and was very attentive! The price was a smidge steep but with inflation, completely understandable! They gave huge portions too!

Big Herb has noticed this place being fairly busy on his Sunday travels through Kennett. So today the wife and I decided to see what the fuss was all about. We weren’t disappointed. We were greeted immediately upon entering with smiles. We found our table and began conversation with our server Amber. It was glorious from the start. Amber took our drink order, brought us menus and silverware. We looked over the menu while the drinks arrived. The wife chose the chicken tenders and fries. I had the 3 piece catfish plate. I chose okra and side salad with ranch for my 2 sides. Her plate came with hush puppies but she put them on my plate. The food came quick! The environment was laid back. Very clean. All the staff was cool. Amber’s service was strong throughout the experience. Big Herb strongly recommends this place if you’re hungry and want a quality meal at a value. Solid gold! We will be back again to explore the menu further.

We were passing through Kennett on a long road trip and needed a meal. The food was quick, delicious and abundant. The service was excellent as well. We’ll surely stop here again next time we pass through!

We just learned that this place was open and had moved, so we went to try it. We didn’t realize that they closed at 8 pm and arrived at 7:45. They wanted us to stay and took our orders. They have really good fish and loved the hushpuppies! Waitress was new and friendly, but she did forget to bring us a refill on drinks. We will definitely be back!!

Coming from the Catfish Capital of the World, Savannah Tn, what I am about to say is bold. The Catfish Wharf has the best catfish I have eaten in 20 years. Fresh, flaky, fried to perfection. Whoever is in the kitchen – KUDOS!!! The white beans I had for a side made me wanna find my mama and smack her. Fried Corn, y’all, the fried corn will transcend you into heaven.
Don’t come here for the atmosphere, because there isn’t one, come for the soul food.
