Catfish Station’s fish tacos were bomb — super fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Definitely the highlight of the meal. Love that it’s right in the neighborhood too, which makes it even better and convenient.

Very terrible customer service. Placed an order yesterday. It was picked and brought to me. I ordered a fish and shrimp basket and was sent a poboy. Had to take it back. And when I took it back I was told, well it is the fish and shrimp that was ordered. Are you serious?? A basket and a poboy are not the same. And to tell a customer this after it was YOUR mess up is diabolical. And then people wonder why people go off at restaurants. Because instead of just apologizing for your screw up and giving me the correct order, you had to say that like it was the same. And it definitely is not. I wasn’t even upset because mistakes happen. But the ignorance in the way it was handled is what makes you lose a customer. And on top of that, I ordered a basket the night before that is supposed to come with 3 shrimp and only got 2, however I did not complain. But this took the cake.

Dave and the crew there stay on top on there game here and are consistent..Every Tuesday that rolls around I ride out hit 2234 and fried shrimp tacos come to mind. 2 for $5, 4 for $10 spend $10 and be full with an authentic smile. Unless you want a one way ticket to the bathroom including throwing up and diarrhea. DO NOT EAT HERE! I wanted some Cajun pasta so I decided five minutes down the street to give it a try! When I arrived, it did look a little bit sketch, but I thought maybe this is a hole in the wall situation. I ordered the Rasta pasta, and I ask for shrimp. On the menu it’s at eight dollars and my husband ordered another meal. I think it was rice and beans. I’ll send pictures as well and that was around ten-ish dollars. We ordered two drinks and our bill came up to $30. I don’t really know how but whatever we paid for It. We sat down and they didn’t have my shares with put my son and one booster chairs and we waited, the nice thing is that they brought the food to our table.
I thought the pasta looked very watery but again I thought it wouldn’t be that bad. When I tasted it, I knew I needed salt but then the salt shaker was so dirty. Looks like it hadn’t been clean this decade. There were a couple of random pieces of pork in my shrimp pasta. I don’t eat pork so that’s not ideal. The taste and service it’s a 2.5-3 star place. It wasn’t the worst experience but it was definitely a place I won’t be back to and wouldn’t recommend.
Here’s where it earned a 1 star ⭐️. The husband took his food to go, and ate it when we got home immediately after he ate it, he ran to the bathroom and started throwing up. I know that I needed to use the bathroom so I went upstairs to use the other bathroom, but we were both Very uncomfortable all night. Once he threw up, he felt better, and as I’m writing you at 6 AM again I’m in the bathroom and this is why I had to write this review. Not sure if the food was not fully cooked or what but it made my husband and I both sick.

Great food! Not greasy fried fish and shrimp – awesome gumbo. No complaints about the dirty rice and the green beans were beautifully seasoned and not over cooked. I’ll be back!!

I usually don’t have an issue but this day, I call in my order ahead of time. Order was ready but no one ever gave me my order and had me standing for 10 extra minutes before giving me my order. By thie time I got back to work, my fries were soggy and my food was lukewarm. Never had issues before but this was unacceptable. Won’t be going here again unless I have the time to go back and forth the staff about having my food recooked fresh.

2nd time eating here… Last time (no pics)we had the family meal this time it was just lunch for two. I must say the food so far is consistently delicious!! We’ll definitely be repeat customers if they keep this up.
