If you want decent and good customer service don’t come here the guy that’s at the front. He’s rude to kids. He’s rude to elders. He’s rude to everybody. I don’t even see how people spend their money at this establishment. It’s horrible.!!
For receipts stolen from the original owner !! Over the years food has remained mediocre & prices going up and up and up, & service is down hill!!

Always liked the food,service at this location seems to be on the old side,this time picked uo order for daughter, when I picked up only got half of the order so I had to go back and pickup the sides and utensils. As in the past they often serve single portions when family portions were ordered.When computers make a mistake like this they often offer a complimentary something which I dont always accept but its a nice gesture.. Uff! So delicious. We had fish, shrimp and fries. On other occasions I have tried the boudain, beans and rice and all have been great.

They have an all day catfish, fries, & hushpuppy plate sale on Mondays & Shrimp, fries, & hushpuppy on Tuesdays for $5.99. And they serve you a lot of food.

I hope the owner sees this review! You have a very rude manager that I encounter on a telephone call today around 5:15 pm. The soda I received with food that I ordered was horrible and tasted like Alka-Seltzer! I also had salty running grits but I was just gonna take a loss at first! But I decided to call umber eats back as well as give this review. You need to hire respectable staff members that know how to deal with customers. This location did not give me quality food like the other locations that I have from. The nastiest mess I’ve ever tasted! I am considering calling the health department to check this location out!

I recently moved back to Houston and remembered when these guys first started in the drive-thru spot on 1960. I used to stop by weekly. The owners were always there, speaking with customers, and the food was excellent. I recall one time the owner noticed I wasn’t ordering fish anymore and asked why. I told him it was too salty. He had me pull over and personally adjusted the seasoning, cooking it three times until I was happy with the taste.
I stopped by today and that kind of care is gone now. I didn’t feel welcomed at all during my recent visit, and the food was just… mediocre.

The food here was so delicious. The fish was seasoned to perfection. I dont really care for hushpuppies but I will eat them. I have to say those hushpuppies there were the best Ive ever tasted. The shrimp was good but the marinara sauce was amazing. Everything was delicious and fresh.

The Hispanic lady at the counter is rude and likes to argue with customers when they are the ones that made the mistakes. She needs to learn how to comprehend and do better at listening when it comes to the orders. Very small portions and bad customer service.

I got a grub hub order and was missing my 2 large sides and the lady I talked to wanted to call me a lier I took a picture and went to the location she didn’t have anything to say after that. But had an attitude the whole time. I will never order from this location again.

I don’t know who made the etouffee sauce but MY TASTEBUDS ARE SCREAMING. I ordered the grilled fish with shrimp and rice. I figured why not add the sauce? Greatest decision ever keep it up!!
