We were camping at Twiltley and wanted some Mississippi catfish while in the state. This tiny spot was a whole experience. You order at the window and we were told it wouldn’t be less than 15 minutes. We just sat in the car (it was freezing), but they do have a small covered patio to the right and 2 tables to the left. The catfish was perfectly cooked and seasoned, as were the hush puppies. I took a star off because we weren’t fans of the tartar sauce, but the red sauce was good. Additionally, there was only like a tablespoon of sauce in each container. With better tartar and full condiment cups, we’d give it 5 stars!!

This used to be a great place to grab a fish plate. But over the past few months they have become a huge waste of time. They never answer the phone to take orders anymore, and when you go there the wait can be very long. While there you’re going to see the workers playing with cats and or dogs inside, and they’re going to be going in and out to talk and smoke while you eating. I’m done with this place and I hope everyone else move on too. I think the health department needs to know about the animals inside as well.

This was our first visit and probably our last. The staff was very friendly and apologetic about a longer wait due to a large order. Unfortunately the food was not great. The catfish, fried oysters and hush puppies were overcooked. It was disappointing.

The food is amazing! The menu is full of choices! The prices are perfect! The sides are inexpensive and perfect snack food on the go. The poboys remind me of back home Texas cooking.

We usually eat here once a week . We love the hamburger steak it’s great. I’m not sure if they have new owners or employees but our order has been messed up a couple times here lately. Keep in mind food isn’t cheap and most of the time we’re hungry when we eat and have our taste buds set to what we order and when I call to let them know of the error they say I’m sorry like what do you want us to do about it? Well I’m not looking for anything free but I paid for something that I could not eat so I’d expect you to remake it correctly. I believe we just won’t eat at this establishment anymore because of the lack of customer service. The quality of the food has declined over the past couple months as well. It’s too expensive for the quality we get!

Ordered a fish and oyster combo and just oyster plate. I have never been so disappointed in the oysters. They were so small and the taste was not good at all. The fish was okay but definitely not what I was expecting.

Fish was hot and delicious, but very small portions. Coleslaw was delicious but small portion, side cup was only half full. Hush puppies were delicious, some of the best I have ever had! Fries were soggy and disappointing. Friendly service, extra star for that! If you go there, keep in mind one fish portion is two or three bites, about 2 ounces each.
